TooNu Caldari Nefarious Activities	Posted - 2010.03.24 16:28:00 - [1] Everybody has a blog these days, for those that want to read another blog here is mine. Specifically about EvE online in general and various things I and my friends are doing. So here, my blog. http://toonu.wordpress.com/ Unnecessary, uncomfortable disclaimer: I think putting yourself out in writing so others can read is pretty uncomfortable but just now it's a chance I want to take. I wrote a few EvE bits (articles?) in this blog just so there was at least some substance to it before I wanted anybody else to see it. For example I've done "EvE - A not so quick intro" and there are 7 parts to it(pt.1 here). At some point I made a wormhole guide (here), I've written about all the ghost towers I've found (here) etc. So hopefully there is SOMETHING a newbie or older player would want to read about. I play far too many video games in my spare time which EvE tends to fill up so rather than endlessly hit the scan cylce I want to write about what I'm thinking/doing. At some point I am likely to add other games at some stage (you can see the beginings of my Bloodbowl campaign) but as I said, EvE takes up most of my game time. Oh, and my language is often foul and cynical...just incase you hate that.

The photoshopping is also becoming faster and better so that is good to. So far the blog has had quite alot of views and positive feedback so yea, quite good.
TooNu Caldari Nefarious Activities	Posted - 2010.04.08 15:22:00 - [5] Hello, I've written quite a bit too much in the last week ,so much that my arm has developed a rather nasty pain because my addiction to this blog is all consuming. Still it is great fun and great practice. A bit of a distraction and a way to make my EvE game a bit bigger. Recently I started 'My most favourite ship(s)' that has me up at night thinking why I fly what i fly. The unglamourous Rifter and the Cruise missile Manticore are up now with more to come. One more thing,a post about me killing a friend off "Bio"mass effect. Thanks :)

Also I am reading your blogs, pretty inspiring I must say :) Another busy week was had, posts were written and some ISK was made. My most favourite ship(s) is coming to an end with examples being the Rapier and the Jaguar posted in the last week with one about Mission Running ships. Lot's of work to get my thoughts out I tell you, brain PvP but no ransom Thanks again!

It drains the soul and drains your energy (don't be a cook, be good in school and be something else) luckily for me the blog hasn't suffered so greatly. The recent 'My most favourite ship(s)' topic has now come to an end with a nice wrap up. Honorable mentions pt.1 and pt.2 are compilations of ships I have and have not flown and finally my bestest ship in the whole wide world to end the segment. With that said, my EvE has been pretty quiet as of late... Cheers TooNu

Before I came to CCP I was writing about games, at Massively. On the first day there I was thinking, "My god, thousands of people are going to read this as soon as I hit Publish...", but eventually I came to really like the idea of having a lot of readers. The old blog tends to take a back burner if your real life kicks you in the genitals over and over. By that I just mean a job tends to take your time up. Thank god I can't have children! :D ok that is also a miss-direction statement but with children I don't think my game playing would be so all encompassing. What the hell am I talking about? Ok so thanks Shadow for the support :) (how great is that, possitive blue bars)and thankyou to all who read the blog I assure your time is well spent doing so because you no doubt noticed how much more awesome your life is. A post about some ingame "people" I have been known to spend time with was long overdue, A game is not a game without other players afterall. You might recognise some but probably not because I hid their names bwaaahahaha how sneaky am I . Yea ok moving on. We got attacked "OH NOE YOUR JOKNIG!!11" Strontium tends to make attackers bugger off again so it was all good. Oh and with several weeks of things not happening here is a chain reaction of none-events that resulted in a change of game once again. 5 months in, not out! round 6 ding ding! Cheers TooNu

It's a shame that you're moving on from wormhole space just as i begin my journey within it, but i can understand your sentement of: "why make ISK to make more ISK?". I really like the short story you tell about your corp working together within your WH for a corp goal (i won't reveal it ). I imagine that would make life alot easier. Anyway, enjoy your new way of life until you return to WH space. Doesn't mean i won't be reading your blogs though; i expect more tales from you especially any that include your fancy new toy.
TooNu Caldari Costolle Military Assistance Corporation	Posted - 2010.05.08 17:53:00 - [15] So regaining the PvP edge has ben the focus recently, and though I REALLY want to take out my Widow it will have to wait while I retrain myself. Being safe and sound in a Wormhole only made me a bit slower but thankfully I haven't forgotten everything. What better ship to sharpen the reflexes than the ole'reliable (and cheap) Rifter. A Perfect 10 is the PvP project I have been working on for the last week and the second part just went up today and it is A not so perfect 10. I guess I will do part 3 shortly, it depends how fast I explode over the next couple of days. I also wrote about the Tengu at the start of the week, as a final salute to the boys still in the wormhole and the greatness that are the Heavenly Dogs. Probably, the post I enjoyed writing the most so far. Finally and absolutly nothing to do with EvE but, my job irl seems to be getting kicked in the face hard everyday

TooNu Caldari Costolle Military Assistance Corporation	Posted - 2010.05.14 19:02:00 - [17] Hello again, thanks for the comments and kind words from you people I am constantly suprised by the feedback :) The Rifter PvP thing has taken a bit of a back burner but the 3rd entry with no proper screenshots because it is a very not perfect 5. With very little actual playing this week the regular scheduled programming came to a halt because... We interrupt this broadcast to bring you news of what happened recently with regards to the WH corp and perhaps a little plugging of a certain CSM candidate. Finally another bloody list however it is in true wtf? fashion becuase it happens to be about the dead, thus, a Death Wish(list). I've been burned, cut, nicked and burned some more this week plus my legs are due for a replacement if I miss one more tram in town. Work sucks, be a criminal instead. Cheers TooNu

So quickly before Saturday is through!! Probably one of the last Rifter days happened around last Sunday or Monday, I forget which because I am 470 years old but basically it's me right? because I am terible with Rifters...or I'm not. What's next? Nirvana night was Tuesday or something but I forget because my head is full of noodles. Anyway, the missus was playing Nirvana for 3 hours or so and it gave me the title Load up on guns and so I wrote this about a night I killed a friend, and in game. Lastly, much like this reply post. Lot's of bits and pieces from the week, the small non events and things that happened. Ooooh it's gripping and exciting like needing to empty your bowels but you can't because you are sat on a bus on your way to a job interview and you can't very well turn up and be all "I NEED TO ****!! Ever had a week where you work so much you feel like you live in the damn building? well me to but there was room for some EvE and some blogging and to write a small guide book about Scotland...we won't go into details about the guide book but we WILL go into details about the blogging. First though, a word on your health. Specifically a word on your hearts health as you play EvE, do you feel a strong Thump, Thump, Thump from time to time? If so, read this post and compare yourself to my experiences. My EvE time was spent letting other people make decisions for me as I follow the leader around low sec areas helping fight the good fight on behalf of the Caldari militia. And lastly I put a compendium of my EvE posts together mainly for my loving of organisation but also for ease of reading. Oh and a little debt clearing was also on the cards, I speak for my corp mates when I say "at last". Now back to a life of working and being a slave while monkey sits here watching me, laughing in his head at my misfortune...evil monkey. TooNu

Yes only 2 this week because the sun was out and so I have been out and despite being off today I still sat inside and wrote a blog post because when you get the urge to write baby, you just can't stop it! (if ever an action film about a blogger gets made, that is the tagline). Here we have the symptoms of somebody suffering from scanning withdrawl and how he is coping with it and did it affect his PvPing? and then I just finished this ANGRY POST!! about being social in a game filled with people...yes that's right, people, not the normal games we hear about that are filled with cats... (baby cow, small cow, small calf, wee calf, week aff, week off...ok fuggedaboutit!) No blog posts for an entire week because some of us wanted to do other things and let the batteries recharge a bit I.E. my brain doesn't work so well while I've got hundreds of other things to do. This week however was much better, ideas flowed like wine being sifted through a beard. Quite productive is an understatement I think you will agree. The Superbowl for nerds is here again! and it's the finals this weekend woohoo! can't wait to see the fights and the commentary and the show CCP put on. Tune in and watch it ok? you will have a good time I SWEAR!!! mmmm PI is nice but as a meal everyday it isn't so great and you really should alter your diet. Also guys, fruit, fruit will do you wonders so put your choclate down and eat fruit unless you like your skin being that way, I'm just saying perhaps slimy pits and butt crack with a dry peeling face with your pale complexion is your thing but it's not what is deemed attractive in this day and age. Finally all things will come to pass, the inevitability of it all is obvious. This is quite a forum thread update, I do enjoy these little chats we have together. It reminds me of better times, when we were young, and the world was our oyster. Words then were so silly and meaningless but now, they are of great importance as our time vanishes from our lives like the excrement on your handfull of supermarket brand sand paper like toilet tissue or dandruff in the shower. TooNu Caldari Hellhounds. HellFleet	Posted - 2010.07.09 14:16:00 - [22] Hello again, time for a thread update. Very reflective this week. Serious times, exhaustion, another EvE vacation, Planetary Interaction abuse, much RL work abuse and a series of social engagements means no blogging and no EvE for TooNu. That being said though, there was time for a little EvE this week and a little EvE blogging as thoughts of exactly what I am doing and have been doing have scrabbled through my brain like a feltching Hamster up a tight bottom. Why I trained... Parts one and two was something I thought about while doing some holiday shopping that lasted an entire week. With no EvE to occupy my body, it still occupied my thoughts from time to time and I was thinking more about the direction of my character. And I moved home again, not in my real life but in game another corp. change and another logistical nightmare to be had. Going back to my roots here and I have a very good feeling about it, so again i'm Guilty of nomadic behaviour. If my work schedule keeps up like this I won't have time to take a moment for my self for bathroom breaks let alone being the savvy, suave bastard that I am but I will certainly try my hardest. At last, the long talked about EvE path is here and I have embraced the inner pirate. Though I think I am one of the nice ones...aren't they all when they start out? then the money runs dry, so does the booze and the women and then what's it all for? BUT at the moment it is fun! and exciting! and swashbuckley! (Like Jeff Buckley but less Hallelujah). Speaking of songs, Yo Ho Yo Ho seems to be a pretty good song, you can't forget the words to a chorus that has 2 words in it. And one more post for this week and thanks to Billy idol for being ont he radio today I got this pretty nifty title With a rebel yell she cried YO HO HO!. I wouldn't want to fight Billy idol, he did a christmas album. SO more work, more being tired, more being stressed and more summertime. Angry person sends angry EvE mail, I translate it here in the Analysis of Hate. As a result my game is ruined, and the whole universe collapses, oh woe is me. I learned the hard way that Karma is indeed a b*ch and that yes I finally understand that I am a bad person. Hopefully though, thinking more possitivly and having new great things to play with signals the end to the sht week. Now Summer is over (at my work) I have more EvE time and may commence!
