Well Easter came around quick! Just a reminder that there will be a gathering of many residents of New Eden at the i39 event coming up over 2-5 April at Newbury, UK. It's a 1600+ BYOC LAN with a large gaming exhibition attached and all manner of other activities. It's nicknamed the "Glastonbury of Gaming" in the UK for good reason ;)
I'll be arranging the usual meet for all the EvE players attending the event on the Saturday afternoon at 4pm. We have a separate room where we can fit 200+ people to gather and share beers and tales of space. We usually have people from all across EvE attending, which leads to some fun banter :). I know some of the WI peeps attending are planning some sort of BBQ as well in the event camp site :).

Nearest railway station: Newbury Central
Nearest major airport: London Heathrow (take Heathrow Express then direct train from London Paddington to Newbury).
Spectator cost: ú10 a day including camping, or ú25 for the full 4 days.
BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer): ú90 for the 4 days inc. camping.
I may well steal the stage for some EvE antics for a bit as well, which we can stream out to the tens of thousands of internet viewers who tune into the event competitions.
So who is coming along, or rather how much beer do I need to ensure the bar has stocked? :)
NC folks: did I mention it's somewhat of a tradition for me to buy every blue in attendance a beer? :p

Ok people I've actually sorted the details in advance of the event this time. You can all pick yourselves off the floor now
First the tl;dr version:
"EvE meet at 4pm Saturday in the Fred Winter Suite. That's the 2nd floor Berkshire stand".
We have allocated the Fred Winter Suite (Berkshire Stand 2nd floor) for community related gatherings at i39, which will include the EvE meet. There will be a bar serving draught beer on the 1st floor of the Berkshire and with the new "delivery" service we should be able to grab a waitress to keep the beer flowing up there
There may well also be a WI/PSPR BBQ being sorted, but more on that when we figure out exactly how many are coming (slack fops)
I am also looking at grabbing a slot on the stage for some fun EvE stuff one night, perhaps a "LOL roam" or something streamed out to broadcast our noobness
I have also dropped a line to CCP and will hopefuly get some goodies to give away .
So please to be posting if you are attending so I get an idea of numbers. Any ideas for other activities we can help support as well please post away
