By portraying the People as savages, they strengthen Amarr hardline resolve to destroy our people.
They are probably secret Amarr hardline infiltrating spy agents, and this is all a set-up.
No doubt that Theology council priest man had found some scripture words that would pull the carpet from under the hardliners feet, so they were killed to prevent it.
So the slavers have the public outrage to support them.
This shows the bloody Hands are either utter idiots or agents of a foreign power.
Probably Amarr. Or Jovians. They're never up to any good, that's for sure.

We are "savage" for lack of a better term, its part of who we are...where we came from...where we draw our stength. Let the Amarr call us what they will!
I'd rather take 10 Minmatar "savages" into battle, than 100 "Civilized" Amarr anyday.
We should be proud of who and what we are...thats what the Amarr tried to drive out of our people with centuries of enslavement...the "animal", because they can't understand it...they fear it.
What we are not as a race is...beastial, Inhumane, or without a conscience.

Brutality as bad as that shown by slavers to their 'property'? Tell me, what happens to slaves who are too old to work, too sick or lamed? What happens to slaves who refuse to obey their masters? At least Matari freedom fighters are brutal for the cause of freeing their people.

How typical a response from an Amarr...its natural that we are familiar with brutality, we had hundereds of years to learn it from those that have mastered its application, hidden behind a the belif that it was "God's will"...nothing but religious fanaticism and fundamentalist dogmatism. History has proven time and time again that those that profess thier civility the loudest, have the least portion of it in stock.

What are we to do then, hunt them down and exterminate them? That is nothing more than a thinly disguised trap...a "catch 22" set by the Amarr. If we destroy them we are acting as savages, if we do not...we are condoning savage actions.

Exactly! We've been set up!
The Amarr hardliner is a cunning devil. But through recognising it is a setup, we are free to say "How silly" and then go about our business as normal!
No! The Amarr hardliner trap will not work against free thinking People!

Let the Amarr take that knowledge as further testiment against thier "false and iconic god"...just as thier "god's will" was to subjugate our people, any true god's will would not have failed as the "False god of Amarr's will" failed them in the end.

I'll let the Minmatar sort out the 'blame' amongst themselves, as if that would do anyone any good at this point. The assumption that we would sacrifice one of our greatest leaders just to make you look 'bad' is beyond idiotic. We hardly need to resort to spygames or conspiracies to expose your brutality. The terrorists already claimed responsibility for their heinous act, and you'd do well to look into their history before coming here and making a foul act even more disgusting with your lies.

You twist and turn like a twisty-turny thing.
Number of slaves rescued in this act = 0 Number of slaves killed in this act > 1
Therefore, it is an act of immense stupidity, which can only be from double agents.

I'm the one twisting and turning? You aren't one of those "Amarrians collapsed the EVE-gate" conspiracy loonies, are you? You can rightly blame us of a lot of misdeeds in the past, but like said loonies you can't pin every ailing in the cluster on us without a proper explanation. Unless you try to look like a fool.
Any double agent has to be an extremely experienced and intelligent agent to even make the cut. How could such a person be so inept as to kill the single highest religious authority in the Empire in one of our own stations? Why sneak and hide when we can blow up our own stations perfectly fine if we wanted to?
I'm not going to argue the stupidity of the act, in that we at least agree. Maybe now you realize that freeing slaves isn't the real objective. How can this lead to anything but more bloodshed on both sides?

The Theology Council weren't 100% approving of things. Eliminating the preacher man in charge may be of benefit to certain other people in the power struggles between things. Especially if the preacher man had found something that would be inconvenient.
Agent, or double agent, or agitator, or idiot. Who knows?
Who benefits? The preacher men don't. The Republic doesn't. The Tribes don't. The Empire doesn't. Who does?
Answer? Territorially ambitious holder men. Catiz Tash-Murkon and her associates. They are not religious like the Ardishapur man. I suspect them.

Isn't it also not beyond the realm of possibility, that to an extreme fanatic there is nothing that is greater thsn "god's will"? No sacrifice is too great in the name of "god"...and to willing be that sacrifice to "god's will" the highest praise a fanatic can give? Its the same old story over and over. I can't believe that I'm saying this...but Lucius Vindictus has a point! Is it possible that there is some other agency at work here attempting to whip an already strained relation into full fledged warfare between the Minmatar and the Amarr?

It further stalls the Tribal Assembly, where things like the matters of the Starkmanir and Nefantar returnee claims would be discussed.

I have just recieved word from my sources that the "Order of the Chaotic" have claimed responsibility for the tragedy, they have even declared war on the "Bloody Hands of Matar" for taking credit for the incident. It would seem that the plot thickens...perhaps "we" can out our differences aside (for the moment) to uncover the truth that lies beneath all of this madness to avoid an escalation that might set the whole galaxy ablaze.
