Serithian	Posted - 2010.03.27 18:27:00 - [1] My main is testing the effectiveness of the defenses of her POS and has yet to be able to get the POS to aggro her no matter what she does. I am disgiusing my ID so noone will come take advantage of my situation. Batteries ARE online and full of ammo of the correct size. POS IS checked to attack if aggression and to attack if at war alternatively, I attempted setting each and both to the off setting as well just to test all possibilities. I have tried 3 different chars, 2 are members of corp and one was not. I have tried 3 sizes of ships from frig to BS. I have tried various distances from sitting on the bubble to 150km. After all that not a single shot has been fired at me except by CONCORD when I attacked the POS with non corp alt. EW batteries as well will not aggro. Is it me or is it a bug, or is it just the way it is?
Miss Isippi	Posted - 2010.03.27 18:36:00 - [2] Did you try shooting at the POS? Aggression = shooting. Remember to wardec before shooting, or you'll be killed by Concord.

I shot at the POS and I shot at several of the batteries taking one of them into armor. I also bumped the bubble, sneezed, shouted and called it a dirty name or two. Seriously, does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening?

NEVER check "attack if aggression", this does not work in highsec and is VERY dangerous in any other space: It will kill anyone that has aggressed something, even if that one is in the same corp/alliance as the POS.

I realize that without a wardec, anyone outside of the corp will be delt with by CONCORD, but what about the scenario where an angry corp mate or 2 or 10 decide to sabotage the setup. What then? Just curious now at this point. There is not much info about this on the net despite the 100 or so pages of stuff that I have read.

Then you need better corp mates. The most they could do is reinforce it (if they really have nothing better to do that shoot a POS for a few hours) anyway, as long as you log in before the stront runs out.

The POS will not shoot members of it's own corporation. If this is high-sec, the POS is only able to shoot 2 types of target: 1) War targets or 2) people who shoot the POS (who are not in the same corp). In case #2, it's very unlikely that the POS will fire, as CONCORD will arrive before the POS locks the target.
