What gives?
Any reason why all the ME research facilities are 50+ days before they are available?
I understand demand is high for good reason, but the cost to do ME research is constant. It is not even close to a reasonable solution to drive down demand to balance the market for ME research.
Am I missing something (as usual) that will allow me to get some reasonable ME research time - this year? I'm not looking to make a business model from BPO/Cs that have 50/50 research or anything like that. I am just looking to improve my bottom line on producing a few consumable items.
Any links to guides on how/when/where to score some ME time?

Put up a small tower with labs, or keep searching for that rare empty slot in empire. |

If the tower is out for you, the options are fewer. You can:
Buy blueprints pre-researched, or contract them to a third party to research for you, Put up a POS in low-sec (.3 security and below require neither standings nor charters), Use lab facilities at NPC stations in low-sec or null-sec, as the wait is less or none there, Join your character, alt character, or corporation to a research alliance and use their POS labs. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

A reason, may not be THE reason or even a significant reason, is that if stations are fixed and the player population is growing, then the demand per station is going up. NPCs can't use price to lower demand, so its wait time. (I though Estels writeup on office rents showed an interesting dynamic system.)
The responses I have seen in threads asking about the shortage is that this is not a problem and that out of the way systems have waits in the order of 9 days. IDK their accuracy or agenda.

Do you happen to know where Estel's little write up is? I'd be interested in taking a look at that. - "He feeds exclusively off dead bodies. The Destroyer. The Flesh-Eater. When the murderer hides his victims, he likes to keep in physical contact with them. Conserving them. He is a psychopath. |

This has solutions I can look into. Thanks -
