Theres been so many GREAT vid's out lately that it gave me the motivation to go out and start frapsing again.It had been awhile since my last video so, i this past month went out on the field and had some interesting fights. Nothing billant tho i might add but i hope you enjoy the situtations i got into!!

Pretty kickass worth the dl. Mya solar system death toll... 6 bs, 5 BC - losses Ammo, and cap boosters.
Nice tank it's tough to feel the risk involved with such a tank, although if it were mine i'd feel that undocking and stealing a can at 0m was risking it too much, so thanks for putting it into play.

Yeah it is hard to get the right fight that isn't insane to the point i die in seconds.. But i can tell you this now my heart races so bad every fight i have, like the one in this video when im in a belt. While they dont have amazing dps there are so many facters to me dying.. If i had lost my drones, who knows what would have happened..
One day i hope to get that fight that will be so exciting to watch, even if i die in it!!

wow this is a really really polished PVP video that really sticks out!
not to mention the fight in Mya may be the best fight of the year for a) use of tactics, explanation of what tactics you used, b) sheer amount of enemy hardware destroyed by a single ship... the comments in local were lol
title sequence outstanding, amazing video editing and suitable audio. one of the best i have ever seen.
i loved way of the warrior 3 and wasn't sure you would top that as it was already so good.
but this freaking blew that out of the water...

But as I havent figured it out over the last 7 years the outlook is not good.

The vindi buff is really nice, my dps jumped up alot... My setup is really complete as its so good in many situations... I do wish cause of my skills i could put a mag stab on in but then it wouldn't as good!
For example, my other vindi vid i was doing 875 dps i think, now i'm do around 1050 dps which is huge when you fit just for tank!!!

You really need to look up how NOS works and has worked for the past few years.
Last fight is loltastic with you sticking 3 NOS onto an AF etc and your cap not going up at all >.<

Very nice vid.
at 4:30 when you had 2 bhaalgorn your cap barley moved and it looked like they wern't even neuting/shooting you (yellow locks). What was going on there? from what I know about bhaalgorn's they should have nuked you.

Yea its not a fight i'd normally take on and if i had shown you what i did before that fight even took place you would have understood why i took the fight, but there are a few tricks i'm not ready to realease to the public yet ( when my time is said and done in this game i will show everything!).
Regarding them yellow boxing me, i believe they did red box me till my back up arrived then i guess they paniced and deagressed

Tbh, halfway into the vid I was prepared to write a pretty damning comment. You do come across pretty conceited with your comments, and while you certainly are a good pvp'er, better than most and definitely me, I found the style of the comments grating. Going on about "different tanking styles" and "observe" when basically you are pwning some poor sods who at no point were any danger to your epic tank without any risk for you... hell, you didn't overload any tanking mod even once, cap never was an issue etc. That fight was great for the sheer amount of hardware destroyed, but, please, try not to sound as if you are the owner of the one truth of pvp.
However, that was halfway into the vid. Massive kudos for taking a ship like that into a belt. I have no idea whether you had any failsafes, none were apparent though and I'd die of a heart attack if I got kited in a belt (or even ran the risk of being kited.)
I think that my relative dislike for your videos is mainly due to the attitude, as well the fact that you never die (in said videos). For me, a video has to contain actual risk or something truly innovative, like Fon Revedhort's Rocket Wizardry. Since the belt fight introduced the risk factor, the vid was ok.
Also, the the visual editing was top notch. Music Selection was way better than average.

I believe what Miriam is getting at, and I agree with this, is that it isn't really that risky, when the 3 bil is never close to being lost. That said, while the Vindi wasn't really stressed in any of the fights and unless I am underestimating the tank you can get on it, it should certainly have been struggling to take a handful of BC or 2-3 properly fit BS.
Personally I think what killed the comments for me was that I didn't see it mirrored in the actual fight, especially the "bait tactics" one. I would appreciate it more if I'd had more information about what kind of backup you, Coldblood, had in the fight, how you got into the fight and what you think the opposition were trying to do. In fact, I am always annoyed to see purples in vids without knowing what they're in.

despite going to great lengths to convinse us that its your piloting skill and not the fit that makes your kills possible, you dont have me convinsed.
at no point do you have me sold that you know what your ship can and cant handle as you thought it was a cunning of you to deagro and "feel out" against a neut domi despite having another 20? cap charges? and knowing that they only had 4? pilots available?
and at other points you have me convinsed you are actually not thinking about the current situation, such as when a harbinger almost moves out of your range while you dont make any attempt to close with him.
the last major problem with this vid was that you have sped it up at parts to about 3 times normal speed? and it still feels like its going so slow... and i think this is really the fits doing. your damage output is lack luster to say the least so given its a vindi im guessing the last unrevealed low is definatly an enam. what it really comes down to is that i didnt really want to watch a movie to see how well a vindi tanks (i already know that)! i really wanted to see it one volley some stupid recon pilot or something!!!!
i enjoyed watching the fight in jovainnon (which was only 2x sped up which i thought was right on the moeny), where you still made mistakes such as not using the massive click on drone scoop to done bay but rather used the complex righclick on and chose the wrong bay to put it in. you also stayed on a jag that wasnt going down very fast instead of switching to a vexor that spent most of its time at 10km and i can only assume you had faction **** taht could scram at that range esp after overheat, and i didnt like seeing you web the myrm before scrambling it.
the end result was a very well edited shiney movie which overall i thought was quite excellent and well worth the download.
so well done on that!

So he didn't fly the ship perfectly, big deal, no one flys perfectly. Start frapsing your own pvp (if you actualy do pvp) and you will catch yourself doing stupid stuff you didn't even realize until you saw the replay. Also, a good solo pilot is usualy concentrating on the whole situation more than just precise module management. He is prob keeping an eye on two different systems with his alt on the other side of the gate.
It also might be true that his ship was never in danger of breaking, but he was still fighting against the odds and WITHOUT ANY BACKUP in a multi-billion isk ship. People go to extraordinary lengths to gank ships like his. He could get bumped off a gate and hotdropped at any time. This is hardly risk free pvp. Risk free pvp would me going out in my hyperion that costs 35m to replace.

my vid which i will be uploaded in a few hours contains mistakes i have made which you can see for yourself.
i believe my pvp to be of a much more intense nature given the pace of it and i make fewer mistakes and less grevious ones.
while i cant say i solo pvp much anymore, because of the fact that its not as enjoyable when facing the numbers we do now days, i can tell you now that none of those gangs bar the very last one on the credits would constitute any real numbers. and this is why the piloting in this vid is not impressive.
its not about the implants the expencive fit the pimp hull whatever... its about how far you push the ship. some of the most entertaining pvp (far more than this) is in movies such as garmonation in ships like cheep arse ranises. because he pushes the limits. say what you like but flying a dual rep pimped through the teeth vindi against a 4 man pirate corp entails no risk, especialy if like you say hes running scouts all over the place.
the thing that bit me about the mistakes in this vid was that it was sped up to such a rate and the mistakes where ongoing. it made them seem to me like he was just not watching his screen at times.
either way, my comment was intended to give advise rather than to put him down. these are all things you can get better with over time. and i think it better to address them than to claim everyone else does it so its ok to be like them.

Those particular guys (Basgerin Pirates), have been known to drop carriers from time to time, I know that they did on my Navythron, backing from a pretty even fight. I see really no shame in being careful in a pimp mobile...

its not about the implants the expencive fit the pimp hull whatever... its about how far you push the ship. some of the most entertaining pvp (far more than this) is in movies such as garmonation in ships like cheep arse ranises. because he pushes the limits. say what you like but flying a dual rep pimped through the teeth vindi against a 4 man pirate corp entails no risk, especialy if like you say hes running scouts all over the place.
the thing that bit me about the mistakes in this vid was that it was sped up to such a rate and the mistakes where ongoing. it made them seem to me like he was just not watching his screen at times.
either way, my comment was intended to give advise rather than to put him down. these are all things you can get better with over time. and i think it better to address them than to claim everyone else does it so its ok to be like them.

Kinda boring video. As others have said you were never in over your head in any of these fights. This stuff is boring to watch. When you spend 3-4b on a ship it outperforms other ships that is just the way it is.
I can see why some people like the video but for people who actually know about eve, i actually hurt my eyes from rolling them at the "bait tactics", "misdirection" and other flashing "pro strats" that showed up on the screen. Most of the strategy in eve comes from scouting and knowing your enemies not hitting reps and f1-f8. Normally this video would not have annoyed me enough to post but in the video you seemed so conceited with the comments and such.
I actually liked your older videos but this was not impressive, it was like watching a poor mans DHB Wildcat.

First - Awesome job Gods.
This whole discussion about the video has to do with a topic that I've been tempted to write about myself: whats are we going for in Eve, in pvp, in video making, etc..
I think the difference between whoever is writing in neon green and Gods has to do with different goals and different assumptions about the elements that contribute to success in respect to those goals.
From what I can tell what Gods wants to do most of all is glorify a specific ship. He wants a vindicator to do as much as it possibly can and show that to everyone else. Part of succeeding in that goal for Gods is to bring the most pimped Vindi possible so we can all see what it can do. Personally, I really appreciate that. Theres only a handful of players willing to put this amount of isk into a single ship and especially without certain precautions to make sure that ship has the highest possible chance of survival. Sure Gods runs scouts and boxes an account with cap boosters and room to grab loot and stuff, but he isn't bringing capital fleets to back him up or hiding gangs 2 hops away incase things get ugly (which some of the most famous faction bs pilot/video makers of the past have done).
It's important to take this into consideration. In my videos I risk almost nothing to produce the footage. This one ship Gods is flying easily surpasses the cost of my 500+ combined ship losses. ENORMOUS risk here. There were points in several of these fights where i would have been jumping out to save the ship against even the 5% chance that something really nasty was coming.
Another person (like maybe mister neon green) would put more weight on technical piloting skill, or DPS rather than tank, or even risk in terms of chance to lose ship in a given fight. That is totally valid, but I don't think it necessarily should provoke and disagreement. I guess unless Gods is claiming to succeed at something which he actually doesn't.
Personally, I like videos to be entertaining, I like them to show something we haven't seen, and i like to see things done which inspire me to step up my game in some way. Gods has always delivered on every level and i really hope it keeps on coming.

i think very few people have come here with a truely negative attitude which is far more than i can say for you in other threads.
also i spose you just revealed you dont actually know much about this game because its kindof a well known thing that tri and viper ****zle arnt exactly on good terms or for that matter dhb and tri arnt on good terms either. so really i dont know what link you are trying to make...
if you want to play this game though, typically the people who where less impressed (as opposed to unimpressed) with the pvp in this movie, in general seem to know a fair bit about this game. so maybe instead of some conspiracy against the person you are trying to suck off atm, it might actually HEAVEN FORBID be an honest opinion.
to highlight this i think that gods seems to have far less of a problem with these opinions than you do. and really i dont think there has been a single person (maybe even including viper?) who said this was a bad movie. so your white knighting is really unecessary.

Great vid with some good fights. Throwing so much isk in space is just insane.
Our corp and friends met your vindi in lowsec but you escaped. We traced you for about 1 week every day as soon as you loged on and formed fleets just for that one kill. Never catched you (silly scout of yours) and then the vindi was on the kb of some other guys.
