Every day i log-in to see my large pos's shields recharging. Throughout the day they go up and up but never failing... after downtime they are back down to 50%. This cycle has been going on since i put up the tower. A few nights ago they were at 95% after charging them most of the day with a couple pospreys. With still a good 7 hours till downtime i figured not a problem to get them to 100% so i left the 2 pospreys transfering away as i went to bed. wouldn't you know i wake up and the shields are back to 50%.
Has anyone else had experience with this? Should i file a report to ccp and see if my tower can be fixed?

Hm... that again? Been like this a while back as well, but i thought they fixed it in some patch a long time ago...
Hehe, that ccp for ya, fixing it in one patch and unfixing it in another 
If it is really the same bug offcourse, but it sure sounds like it.

That is a very old bug that seems to be back. Just open a petition and a GM will nudge it so it hit 100%.

Its a very old bug. CCP has serious problems with regression bugs in their patches because patches are never tested adequately. As has been mentioned already you can petition and a GM will eventually fix it.
You can also remote-rep the shields yourself until you make them increase by 1% and they will start recharging on their own again.
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the ho's and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!' and I'll look down, and whisper 'no.' |

As mentioned in my post i have tried the remote repping option and that hasn't worked. Going to try a petition to see if they can fix it.

So i filed a petition about my pos. The GM came back and told me the Wormhole i'm living in is effecting my pos (Pulsar) and just like logging in, at downtime it resets the bonus and has to start re-recharging the shields to the bonused lvl. Now everything else i have read points me to believe that a POS isn't effected by W space effects. Has anyone else had this happen?

Eugh it sounds like the typical shield failure. You receive bonuses but not HP, it makes me prefer armour tanking over shield tanking. Even worse... jumping into a HAC from an Orca, if you have LSEs fitted you end up having like 10% shield because none of your module/leadership HP is applied it only increases the capacity. Apparently because shields have recharge its fair is the often comeback by people who oppose changing this...

I also have had the same experience.
my pos is in a wh with a shield hp bonus, the pos after downtime looks like it needs recharging but this is the 100% value of my shield, the recharge after dt is just a bonus 
I did mention when i petitioned that the pos attributes did not show the increase, but was assured it was working as intended.
I would like to see pos's show the correct attributes in the future, maybe it could be patched in the future?

Are you in a w-space system with a Pulsar? If so, don't worry about it.
