is that possible? or do i have to go via npc corp because the 1 char in the corp is the ceo and has rights that need to be dropped?

Give all stuff from corp to your character. Drop roles, wait 24 hours, join new corp. At least that's how it works for non-ceo characters. As a ceo you will be asked to nominate a successor. I have no clue how it works if you have no successor, but you can close a corp down. So I guess that it works the same way as with a non-ceo character and that the corp will be closed automatically once you switched over to the new corp.
I see no reason why you'd need to go into a NPC corp first.

This is how it works:
Train an ALT of yours to be the CEO of the corp.
Now your MAIN joins the corp.
When getting wardecced your main leaves the corp (after 24 hour cooldown after removing roles) and joins ANY corp he wants. Player or NPC.
Wardeccers can camp station forever and die from boredom, as your alt never leaves station. When your main goes NPC he canŠt be wardecced and is immune. When joining a players corp of course this is deccable.
With multiple accounts you can switch from corp to corp and wardeccers will lose a lot of money and will not find a single fight.

yep second answer isnt at all related to what concerns me. all i want to know if i can move straight to that other corp or do i have to follow a certain protocol.

Well it is related, but he added some crap about wardecs.
You cannot directly join another corp as you have to assign a new CEO. Either appoint an alt as CEO, or go via an NPC corp.
