And yeah, most of the characters you see here are so oversexualized its frankly embarassing.
Not quite possible with this character creator. The lowest setting still would probably be a solid A cup in the sculpting area and adds a cup size in the portrait mode. The largest setting is rather silly though and is less realistic than the smallest setting. I can't believe I am talking about this |

Grey Haven, are you Amarr? If you are I am impressed since I find that they are the hardest bloodline to work with, and seem the most common choice when people want to make she-males like the infamous Mildew Wolf. I think Corina Jarr is prettier than the average Amarr avatar too. Good job to all you pretty Amarr ladies. |

Sister Kryste, I spent the first day on EVE with the character creator building roughs from the twelve bloodlines. My first Gallente looked just like you and made me decide on settling on that bloodline edging out the Civire designs which tend to look more masculine.
I also really like the Achura design, but also feel a bit more politically in tune with the Gallente than the Caldari bloodlines. |

Looking at the old Vherokior portraits I can really understand why people are upset. I have yet to see someone who prefers the new look but have seen so many complaints here. I love the new character creator and it was one of the things that got me interested in EVE, but I do wish they would have done a better job with the Vherokior and Intaki models. I actually like the female Amarr designs even though I think they tend to look scary and mean.
CCP probably should have let people change their race, or at least bloodline when they did the major overhaul in the character creator since some bloodlines look radically different. I also agree that some of those hair/head pieces were great! I truly hope that the current character designs will be reproducible (backwards compatible) from here on out. There has already been an outcry in the recent missing skin colors. Options added are almost always a good thing, just lease let us keep our old designs if we don't like the new look.
Topics like this is less about the contest to me, but about discussing the various aspects of beauty in the EVE character creator. |

That sums up the Gallente look. We are an angular bunch! |

Which is fair enough. This will sound cheesy but that is why I don't try to enter contests since beauty is very individual. The important thing is that you like how your avatar looks. I went through a ton of variations from all the bloodlines before settling on this one, and I am quite happy with it. These topics that get generated by contest threads are amazing and I really enjoy seeing what others consider attractive weather it is a handsome look, androgynous boyish look, cold frosty beauty, busty barbie, or tough punk look. I was going for the girl next door, recent academy graduate look. Contests like this are subjective and should be taken with a grain of salt since it is all apples and oranges, or watermelons as the case often is here
I have a small gallery of random capsulers that I have found attractive so far in my travels and they do vary in style. There is no way I could choose a top 3, or even top 20 out of them. |

Yes I have also mentioned the lack of A cups since it is very true. I actually like the "smallest" setting sizes and find them a good match when all of the other settings set to thin, but find it a bit disturbing that the designers have a B/C cup as the lowest setting. It would also seem as though the portrait creator adds a good cup size compared to the character/WiS creator. Naturally it is very apparent when portrait is taken from the side. I completely agree with you that lowest setting is far from small.
This is close to the smallest setting?? Celeste Gallente |

Nope he had it right. I think he was actually specifically referring to this episode of the Simpsons where Zaius' name is repeated like in the post.

Ah, I see what happened here now. Missed that on the first reading. I agree the new BSG has some great characters (Tom Zarek is great) but I felt that the writers were making it up as they went along much like Lost and Twin Peaks. If you listen to the audio commentary they admit that they didn't know where they were heading, but I feel the same was true with the original BSG, especially that final episode. I'm actually looking forward to SyFy's Defiance since I am a Rokne S O'bannon fan! |

Pierre Echerie wrote:Not willing to sound too harsh, but you have some taste issues, my dear lady I'd think this contest is between YOU and Miss Green... rest are just meh. Then again, I'm just as subjective as anyone else here.
As someone above mentioned we should feel free to hold our own contest here, and Quora Fields is both pretty and a nice person so she wins my contest, Check your account (I am also new, first time transferring funds, but I think I did it right) and buy yourself a few cruisers, or some apparel. I remember how hard it was to make ISK in my first couple weeks, but now have the fortune to be making a few billion from the few weeks since then. I wish you similar luck and hope you stay around! |

Talisa Latarien wrote:I'd probably enter as well, although not sure there's any chance for me in such a contest. Then again, this thread did prove that taste is extremely subjective, so, who knows?
The term attractive is also a bit too broad as the entries were all over the spectrum. Just my opinion but I think you would have a better chance with your avatar if the contest was for the prettiest avatar, but maybe less so for a sexiest avatar. I would say that you would even have a shot at the most elegant or classy looking avatar. "Attractive" means so many different things to different people and for many it is that slutty hooker look, which you are not.
If there is another competition so close after this one it should be for something more specific or different. Maybe the smartest/nerdiest looking avatar or perhaps toughest most intimidating looking female avatar. |
