So , another pirate blockade ?
more than 50 pod destroy in last 24h in Eiffer/Heimatar.
This systeme is on the direct road between Ammold and Hulm , two starting solar system.
Does minmatar fleet will let this situation unsolved ?

Tank CEO and a number of other M3G4 corp members camped the jumpgate to Emolgranlan. They podded one of my corp members (cloned and insured thankfully) after he failed to respond to their toll demands, which were 300,000 for a frigate, 400,000 for a cruiser and 500,000 for an indy (I think - correct me if I'm wrong).
Not going to complain much as at least they were asking for cash. Nothing wrong with good ole honest dishonesty! Only problem is that 300,000isk was more than the cost of replacing the frigate we lost and recloning the pilot!

lol. Asking 400 k for a cruiser seems about right. but 300k for a frigate?? It's better to just get podded then.

TO be honest IMO ALL of those pod's are way too high... A frigate - 50K max, maybe a 100K... indy or cruiser 250K absolute max. Some players may have half a mill or thereabouts lying around doing nothing the majority don't either because their corp has the cash or because they are poor ( like most of us ). I think I have about half a mill, but I'm a frigate pilot saving for a cruiser.

When is the Republic Navy/Republic Police/CONCORD going to do something about the situation in Eifer?
I'll be spooned if I'm going to go 30 jumps around Eifer just because M3G4 is in a bit of a mood. The people of the Minmatar Republic DEMAND!!! that our law-enforcement officials be deployed and clean up the trash in Eifer. This isn't Obe, this isn't a gateway to non-empire space and bistot fields, this is smack dab in the center of Minmatar space, nestled in between lots and lots of high-sec systems. This is one of the most vital transportation routes in all of the world. What's next, will Renyn system be allowed to be blockaded too?

I totally agree with Valindur. We have the right to demand actions against these sort of crimes. Then again, the republic might be too weak to respond. They are only Minmatar after all. Or... ?
OOC: I think it is right for them to try, but the government should chase them harder and faster.

Though their rates seem a bit high..
We only charge 20-100k for frigates (depending on cargo)
200-500k for cruisers (again cargo dependent)
500-1000k for indies. (the cargo thing again)

Bah how come i never see these pirates :(
I went through amamake and saw 2 pirates killing some person and i saw some decent bounties so i opened fire. Chickens ran away didnt they. But thats what you get for not having enough medium slots

m0o corp used to hang around gusandall/eiffer area too. We've had some good fights there, good to see m3g4 is taking the lead from their masters.

Yes, it was Tank CEO who blockaded Eifer.
He sucks though; I was AFK (on autopilot) and I got through the blockade. Quite a surprise to look up at the screen and see armor/hull damage and "Tank CEO hits you for 12" just before I jumped.

The Eifer incident got me thinking...
Could any M0o or M3G4 types possibly tell me what sort of people they tend to get as "clients"? Do they just seem to be normal spacefarers, or do you get a lot of revenge attacks? How about danger tourists?
Just wondering because I for one check my starmap before heading out somewhere to avoid this sort of thing. One big green blob for dead ships or pods and I avoid the place like the plague!

Yeah axelay your rates are very generous, there seems to be a lot of forgetfulness about the times when you corp decides to just forgo the whole toll system and destroy ships and pod people for no reason. Maybe you should stop posting about your corp's rates, because you pirates are liars and have no intention of being happy taking tolls.
I warped to the gate in passari yesterday in a thorax, i shut off autopilot and spammed the stop ship so that i would stop comping out of warp. I put a message onn the local chat asking if i could pay for passage. i finish loading coming out of warp to see the final shot hit and destroy my ship from j0rt's battleship, and then for absolutely no reason other than the fact he could do it, he podded me. then seconds later one of his lapdogs was on the trade channel bragging about how j0rt in all his uberness with his battleship 4 shotted a thorax, which considering the ship/module difference, the tactical advantage, and the lag/immunity timer disparity amounted to about the same as stepping on an ant.
a previous post was made by m0o detailing their new approach to the mara/passari blockade that i was unable to find to quote directly, but i remember clearly what was in the post and it said that
1. you would be collecting tolls for safe passage and described specific amounts
2. that no one would be attacked unless they attacked the blockade or tried to run the blockade.
3. that noone would be podded simply for trying to run the blockade, only if they attacked m0o or talked too much trash.
Apparently none of these policies were in effect as i was destroyed and podded FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHAT SO EVER. i did not try to run the blockade, i did not attack, i did not talk trash, i mere prepared to see a blockade at the gate and prepared to make arrangements to pay for passage. Instead i got attacked and podded.
I am not complaining about losing my ship or being podded. As j0rt said i lost fair and square, which i guess i did as i finished loading to see the last shot kill my ship and then get podded. everyone in this game knows how completely lame this attack was so i won't even go into it further, because it speaks for itself and that is not my point.
My point is that myabe you should stop broadcasting bull**** on the boards about tolls of the m0o when there is really no such thing. Maybe you should stop telling blatent lies on the boards of m0o's intention to collect tolls because it is obviously not what the whole of m0o is doing. Maybe you should speak to this stuff when you know what you are talking about. Since you like to troll boards and post on m0o's behalf maybe you can talk about the posts that have been made in the past about tolls and not podding and how they made to be utter rubbish by the m0o corps actions. Maybe you could try posting less garbage and more reality

yeah i am a crybaby, if you are as uber as you really think you are, then none of this should really concern any of you lamer pirate replyers anyways.
fact is that the only one who likes a griefer is another griefer.
edit- by the way i run an athlon xp 2000+ 512 megs ram and a geforce4 ti 4200 128 meg so don't even attempt the lame ass bad hardware crap.

Yep, my sentiments exactly. I spent a good while in Eifer last night slaging said pirates off and giving them a hard time, while letting the bounty hunter channel the whereabouts of Tank, and trying to rustle up some support from other affected corps.
We're a tiny corp that's just started, so I'll be damned if we're going to give in... we have the power to sort this ourselves, and we should do it.
