I have tested planetary interaction in Singularity, and I know it is not done yet, but there are a few things that I am sad about.
I know graphics are not all that important, but placing little dots on a planet surface, connecting it with lines...
Couldnt it be a little better?
Content-wise, the system looks pretty nice, complex, but graphically, reminds me of my old Sinclair Spectrum.
Sorry, I do not want to sound offensive, but still, I am sad.

CCP, i almost never post on these forums, but i must agree that this way of planetary interaction is disapointing. I¦ve been paying my monthly bill for 18 months with my char mostly docked somewhere in low sec, waiting for something that would return the joy of playing Eve online. I am an explorer and mission runner, occasional pvper, and i¦ve felt abandoned after so many upgrades to fleet/blob and alliance gameplay and no improvements to roleplay and single player game. Is it so hard to design a 3D planetary ambient with different landscapes, populations, weathers, whatever its needed to show that we are indeed in a planet surface? So many OLD games have made it... Are u saving human and technical resources for other games as Dust 514 and Vampire? Show us Eve single players some love!

Graphic is pretty nice actually. When u click any circle representing structure 3D model of structure appears over it... But probably Graphic isn't final at all it will be better i suppose. But i don't care (I don't even bother looking at graphics on EVE. Brackets and Overview is pretty enough for me i don't pay attention to graphical content...

Go play another game. Last I checked this isn't a single player game. They have no obligation to appease you. If they want to make a terrible expansion, they can. I highly doubt the number of people who leave because they played it on TC will outweigh the sheer numbers of people that will resub when they see the expansion info. The last 6 expansions have been terrible, why do people keep expecting different?

They wasn't exactly terrible. There was a lot of bugs (especially in Quantum Rise) There was a lot of content that isn't for everybody (like PI will be, it will not be for everybody, but if PI is there nobody forbid that whiner to continue what they are doing now) There was a lot of nerfs and whine. CCP added lots of lags again (How does it happen???) But they wasn't terrible... All that whiners amuse me.
Like saying "PI is bad!" if u don't like don't do it that how it works. And actually OP is really strange. "PI Graphic is bad", it much better then i expected actually (all that rotating 3D models of buildings looking awesome i like that one)

Wasn`t this suppose to be the first stage of Planetary Interaction? A simple planetary interaction, before we have full Planetary Interaction. I know this for sure, saw it in a Fanfest video but I can not remember which one.
Also, I think it is stated in the page with board/development/testing that the first stage of Planetary Interaction will be a simple one. This expansion is not like they add a new module or ship, it is probably the most complex expansion they will add so far, considering it will also have something to do with Dust 514.
The last stage of Planetary Interaction will be atmospheric flight, where I`m sure we will be able to see ala the building on the surface of the planet in 3D as you want.
But that with time.
