It's a sign of the times we live in. Stresses of the world, dog-eat-dog, socialism, capitalism, communism and every other 'ism' out there. Humanity is on the precipice of self-extinction. You hate each other, kill each other in wars and crimes. That will always spill-over into anything else you do, which includes this game and its forums.

Obviously I am not from this Planet.

On a more serious note - Lots of people take this game way too seriously. They have forgotten the four-letter word "game". It's like Russian roulette - but in spaceships, so yes, people really become upset, stressed and hateful. Jealousy plays a big role in all the hatred.

And yes, you are correct. There is much hatred evident in these forums. I highly recommend you read the other forums.

Oh wait.

Really, I have yet to see any game forums in which one does not see hatred spewed forth daily. That takes me back to the first paragraph I typed.

Thanks for the reply, you are right this is a game but a very involving one, I think many try to achieve in games what the can't in RL, the majority of those play WoW LOL, bu seriously I bet if i start a topic on how to fit some ship, or what to train I'm gonna get flamed some way or another.

No, if you simply ask for some gameplay tips such as ship fitting help or what skills are good early on, you will most likely get exactly what you ask for.

If on the other hand, you make comments about how PvPers are idiots, or pirates are scum, or that suicide ganking should be banned in hisec, or compare game behaviour to RL behaviour, or not take the time to construct a sentence clearly, or show off to the forums that you can make $0.10 per hour mining ice while insulting anyone who comes on to give you advice, or a MYRIAD of other derptarded behaviour, then you are gonna get flamed to hell and back.

Basically if you come to the forums with an attitude, you'll get 1000x more attitude back from us forum denizens.
