And fighting gangs at least twice of your number isn't really all that scary when half of their ships is a total crap and you've got dual basilisks. Dual logistics is very a powerful tool even against gangs of up to 15-20 people - let alone some crap - unless they have counters like neuts or jam. And it looks like they mostly didn't As I said, the video wasn't something I'd usully enjoy and I dare say in general it's more suitable to show those just to the people who somehow got in. I fully agree that seeing yourself in a movie is nice No hard feelings, though, as I've got what I knew I'd get after reading the description. And make a watchlist next time, please. thanks for the honesty =D yeh the watchlist was suggested to me and i already have some new fraps done with it. the selection of the fraps was done mostly on a ship / odds basis. the fights where actually very close for the most part the vast majority of the time our bassys survived in hull lol. but i agree that this urgency or tension might not be conveyed in the movie at times. (which hopefuly will be fixed with the watchlist in the next vid ;p) just to bear in mind each bassy brings about 1.5k dps tank output to the field, so 2 bassys against 25 ships is not really a fair trade at least in my opinion. despite mostly versing as you say crap, we have actually been encountering a ******edly high % of ecm (which again makes it harder and more annoying) in the last fight with the vindi i think they had about as many jam ships as we had ships =(. thankfully the vindis dps burned right through their bad tanks. . One thing you can't see in this video were the literal swarms of ecm drones these guys brought to some of these fights. They had the logi pilots tearing out their hair on a regular basis. Some of the videos also looked quite a bit less urgent from Mini's perspective. Most of these fights were very close and very fun.

Just like all programs, vegas editing comes with experience. (believe me ive tried) the absoulte largest gang we ever had was 18 man to kill the chimera and realisitically we killed that with 10 and held it for the other guys to arrive from 20 out. everything else is 10 man or less i think. i dont mean to sound arrogant when i say this, but bar darkside and sons of thunder (and maybe pl when they arnt in humungous fleets) i think we are the best small gang roamers in this game atm. the reason i think this is because we take 7-10 guys in and frequently face off against anything between 20-70 man gangs. (our latest count was 9 vs 70 we did some pro owning in nightmares, was a 3 way but the other two parties both having 30 or more in their fleets decided to ally against our much smaller gang...) blame zero for us not massacering both fleets ;p. in the same region it takes alliances like gentlemans club and ra 30 man gangs to achieve similar results, and they lose ships more frequently than we do. (and they use logistics anyway... they just arnt very good with them.) so while i would love to give smaller gangs or solo its just not possible at this time. this vid is very much who we are and what we do. the description lets you know exactly what type of gangs we run but i can understand perfectly if thats not your cup of tea. i know i myself far prefer to watch stuff like darknesss/garmon/wildcat vids. hopefully my next vid satisfys your appitite a little bit more. . Its kinda shame, everyone and their mother are shield tanking theses days the last people who told us we wernt as good as we think we are, well you saw them on the video. it was gentlemans blob sorry i meant club. they did that briefly before the fight in the vid where they not only outnumbered us but had pretty much the right setup to counter ours. heres something to think about, http://voltron.eve-kill.net/ thats our kb link. youve seen the numbers we fight on the vid. so most of the time we are not showing the "enemy blob" on our kb (thanks to oh yeh... being good enough to not lose ships to them) now i have a lot of respect for both nibbletek and genos but you go find me the last time nibbletek or genos where able to do that day in day out. theres prolly a couple reasons i can think why they dont do it, they like their own style eg dual prop cynabals - frig gangs (genos) which is all well and good, and in nibbles particular case i think they are enjoying some wardecs? but atm they are not doing the same thing as we are and that is taking 10 guys out and specificaly going out to fight the blobs. im not going to pull my stance back as you would for fear of lack of "respect" from you or anyone else from that matter. what we do is for our entertainment, what we do is pretty ****ing awesome by us and if you (or anyone else) think you can take the same numbers with the numbers we have, i encourage you to try. because running around in numbers because you know the other people will bring more will not get you anywhere in the long run. bring this game back to skill and thought rather than blobs and boredom. also post with your main so i can see which corp ive made bitter or which nobody thinks he has a clue. . We go out with 3 drake's and 2 bassy have 30 guys jump in, attack us and say wtf worth a try every time. There is not a gang we have run into as far that i can think of we did not try and fight before giving up because of ecm but that would not make good fraps even more so. Saying there is not ecm when just about every gang we fight has a few ecm ships or 50 ecm bots hurts my feelings And on the last note just and see what happens with the nightmare roam LOL. --------------------------- Join "The Institute FanClub" JUST DO IT
