Is the reload time on bombs fast enough that a large group of bombers could use the drop and warp method to create a revolving door attack against a POS?
Warp to point A (cloaked), align to point B (which is behind POS), uncloak, drop bomb, warp out, rinse repeat?

Reports this morning indicate that this bug has been fixed. I'm not sure about all missiles taking damage again, but bombs are hurting other bombs at least.

Just so you know, this war started as a "gudfites" initiative by TEST to goof off in delve and have fun. They formed a blob of coalitions to stop us, so we returned the favor.

And they're all forced to post with alts on the forums rather than their mains

I have no affiliation with SoCo. I am in a little 20 or so man NPC nul corp. I post with an alt so my corp mates don't get blobbed by your 400+ man gangs, simply because I call you guys out for the cowards you are. And oh boy are you guys cowards. If TEST (the second biggest alliance in EVE) was really looking for 'gudfites' they would set red Goons (the largest alliance in EVE). You can't claim you want 'gudfites' when you have the majority of PvP players in the game set blue. You are looking to curb stomp smaller forces into the ground to make your killboard look good and grow your e-peen. Not only are you two the biggest alliances in the game, you are the two biggest alliances by some margin. But TEST would never set Goons red, because Goons would wipe the floor with TEST. It wouldn't even be a fight, Goons would destroy TEST so fast it'd make your head spin. But that won't ever happen, because we all know TEST gives the best reacharounds, and the Goons love them for it.

This topic makes me wonder, though. Remember the fight for C-J6MT half a year ago, when combined defenders' bombing fleet (including PL) pwned about 70 AAA Tengus? Here's an example of a kill: http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12368993&nolimit First came a few Void bombs and then about 20 Electron bombs. I don't remember any complains that bombs are bugged from PL then. I remember hype, giggles and posting related kills everywhere. What happened? Why this video just now? It was okay to wipe out T3 fleets, but now that Drakes are dying, there's definetely something wrong with bombs? Or is it a matter of who's getting bombed?

*puts tinfoil hat on* Heey, was it really PL behind the idea of this video, or were they just messengers? Looking at who's losing most ships to bombs in south, I think my brothers in hats know the answer.

In this case I doubt there was a lot of tinfoil involved. They found a bug. .......normally you would go do a bug test on sis but they did it on TQ for lolz or something. Good for them.


For reference PL picked up that void bomb trick from Gypse Band who did it to them a few weeks before.

I think this bug was actually a fix to blob. Indeed, judging from the video, bombs had to be fixed. However, I would suggest raising the 'kill each other' cap to 15-20 bombs instead of current 7, if I'm not mistaken. This would eliminate the problem of overkill without destroying established bomber fleet concept. 7 bombs is probably not enough to kill even a well-tanked Drake, not to mention battleships, which makes the blob totally unchallenged.

Those bombing fleets I've seen in action (both from inside and outside these fleets) never bombed with more than about two squads at the same time and never used different types of damaging bombs, so stuff like in the video never happened in real fights. And bombers weren't overpowered. Fleets warped off or jumped into gates before bombs exploded, bombers got bubbled and totally annihilated - so no, bombing was not a cakewalk.
