Hi.
I just had two questions about them atm. 1. When an interdicter deploys a interdiction bubble, does it move with the ship? 2. Does anyone know how fast a interdicter can go with a afterburner or a mwd? Can't get access to my computer atm, so I can't find out for myself yet.

No, once you deploy a warp disrupt probe it stays stationary until it either expires or is destroyed by an areo of effect weapon.
The "Bubble that moves with the ship" is the Heavy Interdictor. ;)
Also, a sabre goes around 3.2km/s before overheating, at least in the configuration I use it with 2 overdrive injector IIs and no astronautic rigs.
I'd advise against using an AB, as your survival is determined by your ability to get quickly out of your own bubble (as obviously, when you drop it it will appear where your ship is). An interdictor is always going to be the primary target of any fleet, or at least of the support, so you move out and warp off or die.
And as an interdictor can drop only bubbles as long as it stays alive, and as this is very important your fitting will revolve about your own survival, the foremost concern on the ship being speed and a buffer, to buy you a couple seconds once you've been locked. So, if you can't fit those 150mm AC IIs, it won't matter that you deal less damage with 125mms, as you're very unlikely to be ever firing at a target anyways. Real men do it the hard way: fly Minmatar! |

I thought that the bubble would disable an MWD, making an AB the better choice? "Ozone is blue and smells faintly of geraniums." (Qi, BBC TV) |

actually, bubbles don't affect mwd. At least not the ones I go through.

bubbles only affect warping.. not MWD...
but that is an interesting idea... making mandatory mwd not so mandatory anymore... might be fun :P |

Maybe add a new type of shorter diameter bubble in some expansion that prevents MWD usage? Might make 0.0 gatecamp tactics more varied I guess. ____________________________________________________________
