Locking threads for "bumping" when there was less than a day since the previous post in the "bumped" thread (IOW, "we don't want to see this embarrassing thread anymore")?
Handing out 6-month forum bans for "discussing moderation"?
Yeah, the moderators are getting pretty pathetic. Keep up the good work!
PS: since you're about to lock this thread as well, the solution to the troll "problem" is simple:
1) Change the rules to allow discussion of non-EVE games in OOPE.
2) Reverse all forum bans/warnings/etc associated with your poor decisions.

Its kinda amusing to see that they believe it will just go away. They really haven't looked at this community very well, it appears.

My first ban on one account was 6 months, later reduced to 3 days (lol says alot)
My second ban on another account is for 14 days, see how long that lasts

You know, its weird. This is not the first time the community has raged over an issue and it certainly will not be the last. But what stands out in this instance is that the normal 'ignore them till they lose interest' policy has been abandoned for an aggressive purge of all dissenters who cross the line even a fraction or just nudge up close whilst not crossing it. Paragdim shifts in policy like this need some transparency over why it is being persecuted so vigoursly. Yes?

That's the problem, though. I have seen people post with alts (primarily in C&P) after their mains were banned, and then getting those alts banned. So be careful :)
