Edited by: Alejandro DeTaz on 06/04/2010 01:06:44 On Easter Sunday I took a break from Eve and spent time with my family.
My son and I watched an anime cartoon show called Cowboy Bebop, which is about space cowboy bounter hunters fighting space pirates.
The show was pretty good, but when it was over I said to my son:
"That was fun, but not as fun as the battle my corporation had last night on Eve."
And it was true.
You could take a typical night of playing EVE, turn it into a script, and sell it to Hollywood. I've never played a game like this.

Pretty cool, huh? Haters will hate, but this game is still great. ________________________________________________

You got it all wrong, heh.
Haters will hate, but his corpmates are still great. That's where the fun came from. The game? Meh.

The thing is, we were wardecced because we're a hi-sec mining corp and they thought we'd be an easy target. We've been chasing them around ever since. Last night they were hiding in stations to get away from us.

Cowboy Beebop is an awesome anime. Was the anime that graduated me to the good stuff and leaving behind the "Dragon Ball" kiddish anime.
Hopefully Keanu Reeves doesn't ruin it when the live action comes out.
Outlaw star is another interesting one.....not as good as CB but...*shrug*
On topic, alot of the 0.0 stuff maybe, but i think high-sec would be boring as far as a script would go....that and it was already done with a bunch of colored animals with hippie type designs on their stomachs hasn't it? -------------- (Insert whatever you want here) |

I found myself saying the same thing last night as I watched the entire season of serenity. The only thing the shows can claim over EVE is intra-ship relationships, and bar-room brawls. Well.... we'll see how that changes after Incarna.

After Incarna, if someone hides in a station we can go in and harass them and call them out as the cowards they are. This should lead to hilarious antics. Perhaps we will need to train up on such skills as "pool cue smack" and "barstool bash".

Well ... I don't know about your chances of selling a script ... (I imagine you were joking). The chances of actually making money writing are about the same as becoming a pop star. You go to places like FanFiction.Net and ... there's a gazillion wanna be writers out there.
As to EVE Stories - there's always the EVE Fiction Forum right here on this site.
Writing is like playing music. Something best done for it's own sake - which if you get struck by lightening (figuratively) you might be able to make some money at. The problem being of course ... that your chances of being struck by lightening (literally) are probably greater ...
