I have tried this in the past but I haven't really been able to find appropriate targets. Would you mind sharing a few tips? I'm doing it wrong.
Ok
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 1: Go to mission hub.
Select the mission hub with care, remember you're after people who are missioning up their sec.
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 2: Watch people warp to missions, get names.
Pretty much, show info/ overview settings are your friend here.
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 3: Check BattleClinic or whatever, and see if they pew pew in low sec.
Again you're on the right track, various killboard stats are your friend. (Hint: busiest system )
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 4: Wait forever.
Did I not mention patience? Certainly meant to. However there are ways to reduce the waiting times. Good Intel ftw!
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 5: Run locator agents, find dude when he's in low sec.
That's one way, there are others.
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 6: Insult his fuzzy dice, or lack thereof.
I believe I mentioned having a CEO that didn't care about killboard stats was important. Think about it . Also a little judicious "role-playing" in local can help here.
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 7: Die!
Yep
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Step 8: Jump him next time he's in a mission.
Bingo!
Originally by: Andrea Griffin Is this your basic plan? I've never been able to get it to work for me.
You got the gist. Getting it to work is all about the details. It takes time and patience, but it is a lot of fun if you (like me) enjoy the stalk just as much as the kill.
P.s. I really mean it about choosing the mission area with care.
Oh, there is another way, by which you can ignore steps 1,2,3 and 5. Places a little more emphasis on step 4, and you will need a cloak on your "suicide" ship, but can work just as well. Any more info will cost ya however ----

I was under the impression they were 37 and had an IQ of 12

Originally by: El Jin'meiko *coughs* kill rights when innocently roamoing about low sec and some group that will totally trash your ship turns up DONT FIRE BACK, this will give you a nice little group to run locator agents on and hunt down best ship to gain kill rights in would be ratting frigates, they are cheap best area's, any militiz low sec as they will always love to get as many people on the km as possable i hope that helps
Now I might be wrong here, but isn't it only the pilot who got the final blow that you get kill rights on? I know only the final blow gets the "ship destruction" sec hit.

After thinking about this for a while I have decided that I too would like the people I have previously killed to come back and have another shot at me time after time. This will save me hours of trying to find people I can solo and have them just turn up on my doorstep.
Awesome idea, 10/10.
+1 i like it
