Ok, everyone has pounded into my head from the get-go that you DO. NOT. MIX. GUNS. Apparently its a huge recipe for disaster. And I agree, generally you want to focus fire with a singular group of weapons to maximize damage.
This makes sense.
But..
Would it really seriously hurt...
So much...
To just put two medium guns on my Raven to kill frigates that get too close when my drones are busy? >:D
I mean seriously? Would this hurt anything? The setup can solo any level 4 fine, so it couldnt possibly be bad thing, right?
Gimme confirmation!

A)What are your drones busy doing?
B)Kill frigates with Mediums guns?

Two counter-points.
a) My drones are busy killing an abundance of frigates in this @%^%&# mission.
b) Ok, I haven't played in awhile, and I'm kind of a perpetual noob. So sue me :D

Protip: Real men fit smartbombs to their mission ship for this sort of thing.

A decent Raven fit will be tight on the CPU unless it is faction fitted, chances are your fit will have to suffer in another place for you to attach those guns.

So which one is it? Off busy, or close enough to switch targets.
Or do you mean you want to kill frigs faster than just your drones alone can?
Just kill the scramblers then let your drones do their own work mopping up the rest of the frigs. You make it sound like the frigs are a danger to you.

I just want to kill frigates faster. Better drone skills would probably be more efficient then slapping on some crappy guns for the hell of it, so I'll just work on that.
