Monolithic. is a US timezone pvp corp looking for a some new members. Formed by a few friends and old corpmates, Monolithic has opened it's doors to public recruitment. We're all laid back and try to remember that it's just internet spaceships and pixels in the end, but try to concentrate on being organized and efficient at what we do. Most of all, we try to have fun.
We have no grandiose plans of ever invading 0.0 and holding space, in fact we have no plans of any kind for the most part. We keep it simple and just try to have a good time.
We place a high value on quality over quantity. We'd rather have a corp of 20 active and skilled players than a corp of 100 composed mainly of inactives, alts, and inexperienced members.
What we offer:
* A target rich environment. At the moment we live in a very active lowsec region.
* A concentration on being competent and organized, and learning from our mistakes. Most of all, to have a good time.
* Some help with logistics to make life a little easier for those who need help moving things.
* Tight-Knit, humorous atmosphere.
* A Killboard for your trophy viewing pleasure.
* Ventrilo
What we want:
* ACTIVITY - don't waste your time or ours if you don't plan on regularly playing Eve and joining in Ops.
* Competence / pvp experience. Knowing how to play and being familiar with game mechanics is more important than any number of skillpoints. We'd rather have a competent 10-15m sp player than someone with a bought 100m sp character whose only been playing the game for 2 months.
* No real SP minimum, but you should be able to fly something useful in pvp, preferably more than one type of pvp ship and be able to fit them with t2 modules for the most part. Logistics pilots are most welcome. Recruits will be dealt with on a case by case basis. The ability to fly Battleships is also a plus. You don't necessarily need to be able to use T2 guns on your BS. For example, pilots who can fly a RR / neut domi / phoon, but don't have t2 large guns will still have a place in our BS fleets.
* You must have a mic and be able to both speak and understand English on ventrilo.
* Willingness to pvp, without regard to sec status, and be able to quickly replace your losses to keep your hangar stocked at all times.
* Laid back, friendly, and have a sense of humor. We don't want internet toughguys or people with over inflated e-peens.
* Either US timezone, or active during US timezones. We don't want to recruit someone we'll never see, you don't want to have a corp chat that's always empty.
* Your limited API key.
* An ability to make enough ISK to keep yourself afloat.
