Edited by: Lost Sleeper on 11/04/2010 03:41:30 Indeed, it is as the title says. I have found 1 of only 2 shattered planets in all of wormhole space (Ref: Here). What is it worth to you? How much are you willing to give up in order see such a rare site, or perhaps try to control and exploit the mysteries of the system itself?
Well before I go on, you must want some proof: Screenshot
Someone has come before me, and realized its value already. The large faction tower with minimal industrial capacity indicates this. A route to this unknown system is available, for a price. Or perhaps some of you are more interested in my silence, and are willing to pay more for this to become a lost memory in my mind?
There will only be one day available for the bookmarks, and only a small window of time to get your ship in before the wormholes are lost. Edit: making it more like a discussion for the curious, and if anybody is interested in seeing it mail me ;)

Does this have any implications for tyrannis expansion? The one low sec shattered planet that was surveyed had every type of material instead of the base 5. Test server of course. --- Currently attempting to interface with forum ... Progress: 1% |

they are all the 1st planet in system... interesting.
i really do not see how they can be TOO valuable in tyrannis, or they would end up being like dysporo moons were on sterroids
interesting how they are all in 0.0 regions but one (which is in lowsec) im thinking easter egg with some storyline behind it. mabye these were inhabited planets that were glassed from orbit with nukes (it is the only way to be sure). either way. very interesting
EDIT: read the description in the screenshot, guess i was pretty close Please resize your signature to the maximum allowed of 400 x 120 pixels with a maximum file size of 24000 bytes. |

We know from Seyllin I, that wormholes can cause solar events. These would obviously have a bigger impact on the first planet in a system, (inverse square law). It's not a big stretch of the backstory to conclude that some are merely shattered (like Seyllin was after the first event), rather than completely destroyed, especially if they are even slight further away from the sun that Seyllin was.
The fuss is because a shattered world on singularity has all resources. Can't help feeling it's actually a test bed for the complete chain and will be cleansed of resources before Tyrannis launch.

This system is still available if people are interested. You may not get a response to mail right away. I'll need time to sort things. Main post updated since I'll be able to provide access even after the natural wormhole cycle ends.

Relevant point: no arrays have been seeded yet for harvesting resources on shattered planets. At best, I think CCP is teasing us. --- 34.4:1 mineral compression |
