I have a few questions about factional warfare,
firstly ( i have been reading the empyrian age novel) why is it that the minmatar and gallente are fighting with each other against the amarr and caldari , wouldn't FW be every faction against everyone else.
secondly i am thinking about getting into amarr factional warfare , is there a good amarr FW corp and do they role play, i am thinking about doing some roleplay. can anyone point me in the right direction.

it would be more fun, but ccp decided it needs just 2 sides.
Amars has some corps, but i am not sure if anyone RPs seriously in FW.
ofc FOR THE STATE!

They are certainly active in Amarr FW at the mo. The CEO (Gangleri) is often in-fleet.
Not sure how much roleplaying occurs though.

1 reason way then amarr not to happy with the gal/min. and you should already know the cal v gal conflict Day of darkness
Now amarr faction corp Amarrain Retribution.Amarrain Retribution.

Take a look at the new tutorials, I think there's one called Advanced PvP or something like that or advanced combat maybe... anyways you get something that lets you into the militia without the standing req. Of course I have no idea if this is true or not. -Jin Nib Trading on behalf of Opera Noir since: 2009.03.02 03:53:00

It does give you an item which allows you into FW. You can only use it if your account (not character) is less than 30 days old. If not, the easiest way to build Standings up to 0.5 in a hurry would be to grab a few of the Data Centre missions.
p.s. You can buy the item 'letter of reccommendation' off the Contract market for a couple of million rather than doing the mission.
