Simple question. If I suspend my account to take a break from Eve, if I re-activite the account, will all my stuff still be there? Is there any time limit?

I think I read somewhere in the EULA that characters after 2 years may be deleted. However I've absolutely never heard any character ever being deleted due to an inactive account within Eve, so if such a clause does exists, it's not used.

Depends on what CCP feels like nerfing and insta-popping next round.

I shut down for about a year after my divorce. When I re-subscribed everything was still in my hanger just like I left it...save for the cob webs.....and the rotten tuna sandwich I left on the Falcon's dashboard.

As long as you don't give a friend your login credentials to "take care of" your characters and then stop playing for several years only to find that your character has been sold to another person three times over (as seems to be a common thing on these forums lately) you'll be just fine.

You should be fine. Just don't leave your stuff in a deep safe spot or something similar....

Hi Harry Inskipp,
According to our Knowledge base , your characters and all their equipment and skills are preserved on our server for at least six months from the day your account's subscription period ends.

However it is worth noting at last check, a character has never been deleted _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008 WIP

Hi CCP Applebabe!
Are you really, really sure? According to this dev blog it looks like there might be a caveat to the 6 month preservation.

Just to be picky: that abovesaid counts only for things in stations - if you leave a pos, cans or other destructible things those can be destroyed/stolen/expire after a month (secure cans)
