This module would be anchored at a POS.
Simular to the Ship Maintenance Arrays,
However this module sits outside the POS shield. It would have a lot of HP, and have rentable password protected slots. Enough space to hold a battleship/capital ship.
The idea is a POS owner would rent out password protect slots for rentee's to use.
To allow more players to use Ship-storeable hangers, while limiting theft. They could say hold 5 slots per POS module.
Maybe go as far, as having 3 or 4 different sizes. small, medium, large, Capital. Holding Frigates/cruisers/battleships/dreads
I believe this will allow more small alliances/corporations to operate in null sec. Where as they do not necessarily need to own/manage a full outpost.
As well as producing income for the renters that keep the POS Fueled.
The end result, more activity in null sec

So the Alliance holds the region, the Corp is assigned a system or two, and the Corp picks up it's own renter corp too... Mine, run crappy anomalies?
Well of course if they're renting docking slots and you want to keep them out of the good Anomalies you just have to limit them to smaller then Battleship size ships.
It's an awful position for an established corp to be in, but a great position for a starting corp.
The problem is that they still need access to a market, so they can sell ore and loot and buy and fit replacement ships. That would still mandate a Outpost with docking rights within a few jumps.
Unless you also include a... Joint Corporation Hanger that can handle contracts and allow for basic trade between the corps.

Correct they would still have to ship in their own supplies from elsewhere. This module is not intended to directly effect market buy/sell orders at all.
Not having direct access to the market from the POS, is not a problem.
This POS module is intended to help increase traffic in Nullsec systems that otherwise would be barren/lonesome. *********** Military Tactics Dasfry, CEO Demio's Corporation
