iv seen a lot of videos of people soloing in Armageddons in 0.0. i wanna know why? maybe I am just being an EFT warrior but does the abaddon not have superior tank and DPS compared to the Armageddon? The Armageddons drones can get popped easily and there goes a good amount of DPS...what is it about the Armageddon that make people like to solo in it? If you are a pilot that does solo with an Armageddon in 0.0 please post/link your fits?

Geddon is better for solo since it got that utility hislot for a cyno.

1. Comparable damage to Abaddon (and only with 7 guns)
2. 1/3 the cost (hullwise)
3. 8 Lows (thats a lot of tank, again comparable to abaddon)
4. Utility high slot

Its cheap as hell, fun to fly and the neutralizer makes a ****load of difference when solo

Cost to field a decently fit geddon : 80-110M (Depending on what rigs you use)
Cost to field a decently fit Abaddon : 200 - 250M and up.
While the Abaddon does perform marginally better than the Geddon, the price tag of losing one is a lot heavier. And in a game where soloing often ends in PPPPPPvP, you'll be eating that pricetag more often than you want to.

this will be a valid point when the insurance change comes, but, for now the cost to lose is the same.
Really, what it comes down to is drone skills: the armageddon is slightly better if you want to use that utility high and have DI V and t2 sentries or heavies, the abaddon is slightly better if you don't have a good use of the utility high (you should have a good use for it), or lack the drone skills.
Although it's really matter of personal preference, they both are nice in their own ways.
edit: keeping in mind that just because the abaddon has 8 turret slots doesn't mean you have to use them. Losing an eighth of your turret dps to fit an RR or neut isn't always a bad idea.
