My account recently lapsed momentarily because the banks decided that i shouldnt be spending money in Iceland..
SO, how to I make Eveboard recognise my APi again, all i get is this;
Automatic API Update disabled, Reason: Login denied by account status.

Might try getting new API key and update it with new info. Just remember it can take 15 minutes for CCP to stop caching the old one and the new one works. It sometimes seems to take a bit longer actually  but after an hour or so it should work.

If i get a new API i will need to update several otehr sources, some of which are a pain in the ass.
So, does anyone the official reason and method of fixing this?
My API is being retrieved by other sources, (Capsuleer for one), so id rather not mess up the other programs just for this one.

Other option is trying a bug report and wait a few more days for an answer which about half the time is going to be get new keys anyway  Just have to point out if you done that when I suggested it you'd probably already had problem fixed 2 days ago already.

I'd first make sure that
1. API key entered is the one displayed on character pages.
2. The data feed links on that said character page works.

Well, i read somewhere that eveboard stops trying to load your API details after a failed attempt. SO what i really would like to hear from is somebody who knows how to make Eveboard start trying to read my API again.
I guess this probably means calling out Chribba on this.
Well dont i feel stupid...
All i needed to do was change some settings and save/update so that it reads the API again

Yep pretty much just logging in with your details again and pressing save should activate your account again.
Same goes if you changed your API, simply log in with the new details and press save and you should be back on track again.
edit/also seeing as this is my site bugreporting it to CCP won't do much good You're always welcome to poke me in-game with anything related to my sites.
