As an enlightened, former Corp CEO, I tried to be as involved as possible in the lives of my fellow corpmates. I encouraged them to join the Mining Ops. I attended their empire complexes raids with them to ensure foul mouthing or racial slurs were posted on fleet chat . I kept a fatherly eye on the podscast they listened to and the CAOD post they read, the gangs they flew with and the skillbooks they learned. You could say was a model CEO. My corpmates have never failed to make me proud, and I can say without the slightest embellishment that I had the finest Corporation in EVE Online.
Five months ago, i had setup a WH corp (no relation to ME or the NC) with a friend, it was a nice Class 4 wormhole with short access to empire, even being alone in the wormhole, the corp directors and I decided that our corp structure would not be complete without some grounding in PVP tactics. To this end, we bought our corp members a brand new Catalyst BPO to produce some inexpensive ships to learn pvp with. The corpmembers had a lot of fun using the handful of pvp vessels we'd bought, such as our expensive corp fitted Kestrels and Navitas, and the directors and I were pleased that our gift was received so well. Our best pilot which from now on i will refer to as "Jimmy" was most entranced by the new ships, and became quite a pro at running lowsec raids. When Jimmy began to spend whole days on ops, I became concerned, but one of my closest directors advised me to calm down, and that it was only a passing phase. I was content to bow to his experience as past Corp CEO, until one of our oldest member, Shamberzt91, charged into the corp chat one night to blurt out: "Jimmy is a Spai!"
As you can imagine, I was amazed. A spai in my own corp! and with full hangar rights!!! So I began the painful task to monitor Jimmy's habits, to make certain that Shambz wasn't just telling stories, as he was prone to doing at times.
After a few days of investigation, and some research the Corporation, Aliance and Discussion board of the eve site, I confronted Jimmy with the evidence. I'm afraid to say, this was the only time I have ever been truly disappointed in one of my corpmembers. Recuited him to be honest and to have integrity, and Jimmy betrayed the principles we tried to encourage in him, when he refused point blank to admit to his misdeeds. His denials on teamspeek continued for hours, and in the end, I was left with no choice but to ban him from the corp until he is responsable enough to admit his errors.
After going through this ordeal with my own corp, which disbanded my corp in the ensuring corp drama, I was left pondering how I could best help others in similar situations. I'd gained a lot of knowledge over those few days regarding corp spais. It's only right that I provide that information to other CEO's, in the hope that they will be able to tell if their corpmembers are being drawn into the world of Spaiying. Perhaps other CEO will be able to steer their corpmates back onto the straight and narrow before extreme measures need to be employed.
To this end, and in the spirit of the coming war in the Sinq Laison area, I have decided to have an open conversatorium to reach a consensus on the the top ten signs that your corpmember is a Spai. I advise any CEO to read this list that other respected CAOD posters will write here carefully and if any of their member matches the profile, they should take action. A smart CEO will first try to reason with their corpmate, before resorting to groundings, or even spanking. I pride myself that I have never had to spank a corpmember, and I hope this guide will help other CEOs to put a halt to their pilots misbehaviour before a spanking becomes necessary.

ive been told our ceo is a french spy, though im still waiting for him to sing in french then we will know for sure !!
just assume everyone in your corp is a spy then you have no worries or maybe just limited ones :)
