New player here, and I've never honestly seen one.
EVE is frustrating for me (console player), so I like to explore and poke things with a stick. (lost 5+ ships and am on my 3rd clone........)
Also my corp is getting pissed off at me for flying in nullsec LOL. (they have a point since i had a weak ship until i got ganked and then I just wandered around in my pod)
But yeah, am interested to see one.
And any mass fleets with one target? I wanna join that, too. Just for fun. |

1: Kudos for giving EVE a go as a console player. That takes some serious guts by today's "player quality standard."
2: Switch corp. So what if you fly in nullsec and get blown up. At least you try things out. Don't let the corp drag you or hinder you in any way. And if you can join a null-sec corp then your odds of seeing a real titan will probably increase greatly.
3: Otherwise there's that NPC titan.

"in fight" is difficult but in the following systems you are pretty likely to find logged on titans:
319-3D
KFIE-Z
1DH-SX
F2OY-X
(I have the feeling you might fit in well with these guys, maybe try talking to them)
edit: as titans tend to sit inside a POS at some moon (unless they are camping the 319 undock) this might be a great time to learn how to use dscan to find them. |

Its a bit sporting there at the moment, expect to see local counts between 300-700 and a bubble camp on damn near every gate for about 6 jumps around.

First Titan I ever saw was tooling around in NPC null flying a covops. EBOLA Erebus at a pos at the edge of the Great Wildlands.
Now I see em every other week when it's time to bridge somewhere for a lagfest, I mean, stratop.

I don't normally just pop in and say 'me too' but I have to agree with the couple folks above me, that if your corp is getting snotty with you for actually PLAYING THE GAME, you're probably in the wrong corp.

Go fly around Amamake talking **** about Heretics and Pandemic Legion until you get to see one. I know of several people who've been insta-podded coming up to the Oso gate on a well-traveled warp-lane when it was camped.
**** Santo, he's killboard padding *****, there was a Smartbombing Erebus in Amamake for a while, though IIRC, it was taken down.
If you're lucky, maybe you can see if they have another one in the area. I remember there used to something like a dozen of them on dscan at any given moment there in Amamake.

Titans dont really fight.
It's more like watching a huge whale drop into the middle of the sea and start flopping around and eventually it decides to fricasse some poor fish on the field by using its doomsday, and occassionally it hits stuff with its capital weapons.

You can fly to C9N-CC to see the wreck of the first titan ever killed in eve: Steve. That was the actual name of the ship, not the pilot. Pilot abandoned the ship logging out on aggro. That's why, if you ask goons, this was not the first titan kill ever, 'cause the ship was unpiloted. Either way, Steve's wreck is there.
The wreck is guarded from rats, so if u wanna enjoy the view without problems, u better fly a cov op so u can stay cloaked. If u like to fly in null sec tho, I strongly encourage to point your skills toward a T3 (maybe a Tengu?). That way u can fit a interdiction nullifier for bubbles. If u add a covert ops cloaking device and 3 warp stab, your ship will be almost uncatchable. Only thing can stop u with such configuration is a HIC with infinite point script and bubble deployed, and still he need to target u before he can actually stop u. That means he gotta have a point on you between the time u uncloak at the gate and the time u press the cloaking button while entering warp. Hard to do but hey, this is EVE.

As mentioned above there is a NPC Titan in luminare. It doesn't do much but sit there. Occasionally you'll see peeps fire on it & speedtank the BS's guarding it to farm Caldari tags. I think it was at least once destroyed by the goons & came back after downtim.
If you want to see a PvE superCap go down it happens around twice a week in HI SEC incursions. You have to time it right though. Usuallly in your journal under incursions a constellation will be established, mobilized or withdrawing. If it is withdrawing and has a full BLUE ( not red ) bar burn quickly to it in the HQ system and look for the Kundalini Manifest site & D-Scan it. After it withdraws you have 30-60 minutes usually before a fleet of 60-80 destroy it. You can come into the site in a non noob or shuttle but there is a chance your ship will get killed (your POD can stay & watchyou'll be protected by Concord ) PODs also cannot activate the gate.

Nullsec. Last time I lived there I was with this real crappy alliance who got shoved out of where we were living. 2 systems over there was an apocalypse (i think) blasting the station where I was storing a Hulk and some Drakes. Needless to say, I contracted those items to the people who forced us out ;D ...and then I left that alliance.

You need to get a frigate with a cloak.
Bomber is the best thing, but any MWD frig set up for spee d and alignment will do with a proto cloak.
Put warp core stabs in low.. 2 of them.. Bring 1 salvager and 1 gun.
Vigils are great for this. Interceptors also.
Go to Delve, and set your clone to station in PR- or 1 DH or Fwst.
Undock from the NPC station, pray noone is there... If noone is, start your MWD and burn a straight line, 500km, bookmsrk that as instaundock.
If someone is there with a bubble, wait 10 seconds, then dock
Talk to the locals.. Link this thread and ask them not to shoot you right away...
You can probably make a fortune salvaging Wrecks around gates.
When you die, buy new ships.
Make bookmarks 200 to 300 km away from gates and stations ... 2-3 on a station is great. Then you can report fleet movements in local. Then join who ever wants you...because your empire corp sounds like ****
