The issue:- I knew I would not have a chance to play EVE for a while and had over 1 month left on my subscription. So I placed a 12hr skill in the queue, along with a 25 day skill.
After the month I knew my subscription had expired...
Two months on I reactivated my account and both skills still showed in the training queue? After 5 mins the 12hr skill disappeard (completed) but the 25 day still shows with 25 days to train?
I know that should have finished before my account expired.
Anyone had this happen or advise on how to get this resolved?
Most appreciated.

After you put the 25 day skill in the queue, did you hit apply? Oh no you don't! Incoming witty reply, ETA: 300 seconds! |

I was thinking maybe I didn't hit apply, but if I hadn't applied would the skills still show in the queue once I'd logged out/in?
I'd let my account expire late last year too, with two items in the queue, and upon reactivation the second item didn't get honoured...but as it was a smaller training time I didn't feel the need to escalate..

Well the official response from the petition was that they can see via the logs that the 1st skill I was training finished on the day of my reactivation and that the second started after...so they don't see a problem.
Oh well, nevermind, looks like I'll leave the game behind - my main reason for getting involved was that even if I didn't get a chance to play I could pick up where I felt my character would be after an expire, but this doesn't appear to be the case...shame but bye bye EVE after this subscription ends.

I noticed this when I let one of my accounts expire shortly after the skill queue was introduced. In my case I set several short skills followed by a long skill. Only the first short skill completed.
It appears that the script that deactivates skill training on expired accounts will only complete the first skill in the queue. As such, if you want to leave a skill training (for the three days that it will continue) when you let your account expire, make sure that it is the only skill in the queue.

Well I did go through the motions of cancelling my subscription and was then very pleased to find that they re-looked at my petition
In retrospect I could have given the approx dates, but didn't have them at hand.
Anyway - they could see that my Cruise missile V should have completed within the time before my account expiry and bumped it up from IV to V, they were also kind enough to give me back the training time, since reactivation, (couple of days) where I was still training that skill and placed it into another for me. Happy days...cheers all.
