Hello,
Would anyone be interested in a meetup later this summer, possibly around August 2010 in Prosser, WA, the heart of Washington's wine country?
For those who might come from out of the area, Prosser is about 3 hours from Seattle and Portland and a little less from Spokane, a bit over an hour from Walla Walla or Ellensburg, and around a half an hour from Yakima or Tri-cities.
The get together could be held to coincide with an event like the Food and Wine Fair or the Remote Control Airplane Rally so that spouses and/or children would have something to do. You get to take your spouse or significant other to a great wine event and, oh, as long as we're here, do you mind if I stop off at an Eve online gathering?

Thanks for the interest, Sharpie, but as no one else has expressed any interest, I'm going to assume that this idea is dead. Maybe another time.

I'd be interested.  If you actually start this or any other WA-based EVE gathering please PM me, I don't frequent this forum a lot but happened to see this thread passing through. I'd love to get some kind of local group going where we could meet and discuss things occasionally. Cheers
