for dcm u need astrogeo5 mining 5 and a tanked battleship to mine mercoxit.. which produces morphite to use in tech 2 stuff.
reason for a tanked bs is cuz mercoxit when mined releases a gas cloud which dmges ur ship

mining lvl 4, astrogeology lvl 5, dcm lvl 1 is needed.
like posted above, u need a bs (can do in cruiser but then u limited in the amount of DCM lasers, in th end a cruiser aint worth it).
u don't really need a large rep for this, a medium armor rep will do, besides i mine in a megathron and the clouds only dmg me shield down to 50%, my shield regen (no shield mods fitted) keeps it up.
