Hilaina	Posted - 2010.04.21 14:31:00 - [14] Its probably pretty similar to what happened to the W.O.W. econ theres more people playing who dont know smart market skills and dont know how to undercut properly, mixed with the fact that the mats seem to be flooding in easier thus droping the price more. tho i havnt noticed very much differance in the mat prices and with my last calculations (bout a month ago) the cost to build the ship is only a few million less than how much the ship itself sells for now. that is all of course if you are buying the bpc and dont have acess to the source mats besides buying it on the market.

(Not that I was really here for the "good old days.") Balance requests/ideas/threadnaughts do tend to be either sarcastic whines or thoughtless bickering though. Ah well. Noobs will always be in need of a better fit.
Mossreach	Posted - 2010.04.21 15:53:00 - [16] I think the general trend over the past 1-2 years has been to move away from marauders for L4s. Very skill intensive, and on paper they often look no better than faction ships, or even T3's. Couple this with the fact that golems are one of the very few L4 BS's which have no need for expensive mods - they work just fine with a full t2 fit. Compare them to say a nightmare (needs a good shield booster for cap reasons) or other marauders (eg paladin needs a high end armor reper for grid reasons) and they're probably one of the least profitable ships to suicide gank on average. Both of those factors have probably reduced demand, while i'm sure supply has only increased.

I will say it is pretty much the best ship for angels. have my doubts about it being better ,than at least some other ship, against all other npcs though.

Before some large alliances could earn a huge amount of money on a few rare moons(guess its still possible but not as much money as it used to be). Now its not as easy to control prices so prices drops. But the whole market has a inflation right now, there are alot of factors. Now its easy to sit in a upgraded system in a hidden belt mining with alot of alts. etc etc. Im not so sure there is a answer, to many things changed the last 6 months with the new patches so its hard to analyse.
