Hey guys, what do you think of my rat setup? I just got the ship and got this sqeezed into the ferox low power:
HI: 5x200mm 'scout' 2x heavy launcher 'limos'
MED: 1x Medium shield booster T2 1x Shield amp 1x EM hardener 1x Kinetic hardener 1x Medium Shield Extender T2
LOW: 1x PDU T2 1x Gyro T2 1x Ballistic missile control 1x WCS
For me it works great and i have also tested against my friends brutix and brought him down to hull, before he had my shield down.
Feedback is much appriciated!

I havent fly the Ferox myself but there are some bad misstakes with your setup.
Gyro stabilizers is for projectiles, you want magnetic stabs! You are using a billistic missile control that increases the damage on 2 of your 7 highslots. Try another mag stab instead. You are using a em hardener and kinetic hardener. There are no npc that does this kind of damage except angels. In which case you would want to swap the kinetic for a thermal.

Okay i of course wrote wrong and meant magnetic fields. But why should i get a relay 1, that gives me better cap yes but also affects my shield recharge which i think is this ships main defence.
I agree on the 2x mags instead of the other, just thought that i wanted to make the missiles harder because there only two launchers on it.
Thx for great feedback tho. Think i will keep the wcs tho, always heard you should never leave without one

HI: 5 arbalast heavy missile launchers, 2x250mm scouts
MED: Large shield booster II, Shield Amp, EM, Thermal and kinetic hardeners
Low: 3 PDU II¦s, 1 Cap relay
Works well.. tested it against several m8s some of em in BS.. the shield holds well and it dishes out a nice amount of dmg through the launchers.. you can perhaps switch the 250¦s for smart bombs to intercept missiles or something like that.. it can also work as a modified BB with its 5 med slots.. 4 multispecs and a scrambler.. the possibilities are endless..

If you want something more in the way of a EW / missileboat (the ferox is practically the child of the BB and the caracal... ) i personally use 5 kapteyn dampeners in mid, 3 ballistics and a cap relay in lows (can switch for a wcs for example..), 5 heavy arbalasts, 2x250mm scouts in high.. works wonders aswell each heavy missile hits doing just above 200 dmg and the rails dish out around 200 dmg with decent hits.
