So after a days worth of ganking fail fit BCs and cruisers (which is about all my corp is capable of at the moment), I find this in my notifications box.
"R.E.P.O. has declared war on Super Serious Business. Within 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved."
Needless to say, it brought much joy and happiness to me. This is my first time to be honored with such a declaration of love. Any pros have advice for a noob of my profession?

over the past year or so, it's become increasingly easier to kick REPO in the nuts. Their PVP definitely isnt what it used to be. |

Do quick hit and run ganks. Most members of repo won't hesitate to engage you solo if the odds are neutral or slightly in your favor. Once you've ganked one or are spotted in local, divide the number of jumps to the nearest trade hub by 2 to figure out how many minutes you have until their blob begins to show up.
You can also have tons of fun ganking your wartargets despite repo's presence. Log off in a safespot in a system frequented by your targets, use an alt to get yourself a warp in point, login, gank the target and get out asap. This will be incredibly demoralizing to your targets as they realize that they just paid 500m for nothing.
And if they're doing a pay per kill contract, don't forget to loose the occasional fully insured unfit T1 battleship.

As with many merc corps, REPO operate a rapid response system.
If they see you online they will run a locate. Then they will gradually send more alts, cov ops alts, then the killing squad.
The locating player will ask on voice comms for a volunteer to send the nearest available alt on a seperate account down to that system. The alt will then scout the system and keep eyes on your ship type, if possible. If you are at a SS then REPO will spend time to scan you down, so keep switching SS.
If you can ID a REPO alt in local, then this is your window of opportunity. They will take time to assemble a suitable squad based on the intel they spot on their alts. REPO members have no problem with jumping 25 jumps to bolster a squad so time is of the essence. You can either run in small ships or use the intel to your advantage and get your fleet ready.
The main REPO squad for your particular engagement will wait a few jumps away to prevent your alts from spotting them in the adjoining systems. This is to avoid "spooking" the target. Therefore avoid dead end systems. I know they are popular for your kind of work because miners and mission runners congregate in them but be wary with REPO around. Treat them with respect as you should with any enemy, regardless of what people say on these forums.
REPO are honourable and to my knowledge don't employ neutral RR. This might have changed. Therefore use RR neutrals to the max if you do engage.
If you manage to get the intel offered on this thread then as soon as you see the first REPO alt in local, do a 10 jumper and setup your operation once again. REPO will then run another locate and start the process over again or they will follow your members with alts. Be proactive with your own alts an run locates on their members to track directions of travel.
Further advice would be to suspend all recruitment ASAP as REPO will have a dedicated intel gathering unit intent on placing alts into your corp to gain dynamic intel.
The worst thing you can do with REPO is dock up. They will have no problems with a 24 hour camp to please their client. Keep moving in small ships to evade instead.
REPO are a damn fine bunch in my opinion and should still be respected.
Fly safe and good luck!

All you realy have to do is avoid efa in amarr. You can find repo and their crack station hugging team there trying to infiltrate amarr middle. They may venture as far as 4 out of amarr as well so be careful. The key to beating Repo is to avoid playing their station games and kill them on gates. If they think they got an easy kill they will come off of the station so baiting them is quiet easy. Just remember that they fight this way for a reason and reinforcments and new ships are never far away.

they do indeed have a truck full of neut rr. they are used very often and pretty badly. you will see guardians and basilisks start gathering on the gate before you see repo. when we fought them they would have them orbit the gate or even bump us attempt to bump us.

Everyone uses rr's when they think they have to. At least when they have rr they MIGHT come out of dock range of efa. Or they may just realize they are a shadow of their former selves and can in no way compete with a competent merc corp so they petition your name. That scenario never occured to me until yesterday when I woke up. I almost ****ed my pants laughing. Now the alliance wants to have a "name the JeRk" contest.

I don't usually post on the forums Van, but I have to for that.
The winning team usually isn't the bitter one. Consider his post to be one of the most restraint he could exercise. Myself? I get updates on our killboard on my phone, and I'm usually getting yelled at while at work for laughing at the repo 'splosions.

REPO don't have too many RR alts tbh, I think most that did, left
Snatch bitter? I don't know, I suppose it depends on the messages they keep sending out. |

Keep on spouting the RR rubbish if it makes you feel any better. I have enjoyed the fights, they have been fair and square so don't cheapen an enjoyable conflict.

Agreed Van repeated sticking of noses in our contracts is a tad sad realy and much of the respect i had for members of snatch is goin down the pan. To those members in snatch i still respect or dont know kudos for the work your doin shame some seem to have forgotten this is a game.
As for all the rr B******T yes we use it sometimes not many dont these days but we dont go ott as some of u seem to think.

Why did 40 members of REPO just leave the alliance (3-4 corps) is something going on internally that might be fun to hear about?
