Griplick	Posted - 2010.04.23 12:06:00 - [1] Recently bought a Dramiel and have been fiddeling around with the fittings and come up with this: [Dramiel, New Setup 1] Nanofiber Internal Structure II Tracking Enhancer II Micro B66 Core Augmentation Warp Disruptor II Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters Gistii C-Type 1MN Afterburner Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction 200mm AutoCannon II, Barrage S 200mm AutoCannon II, Barrage S [empty high slot] Small Auxiliary Thrusters I Small Projectile Ambit Extension I Small Projectile Ambit Extension I Warrior II x3 Is this a suitable for long range combat, and does anyone have and suggestions as to possible changes? Thanks in advance.

I'd say fit Nano's instead of Overdrives, you get much faster align, much better agility and all ---------------------------------------- "The more we learn, the less we care" ----------------------------------------

When it comes to PvP you have to exect the worst and for a Dramiel there is probably nothing worse than being neuted to a standstill. The ship is actually cap stable with MWD and scram running, but the little NOS will help you keep your point on when you need to or it will let you get enough cap to be able to burn away when things get a little hot.

I ran with one very similar to Terianna's until it got ambushed by a Taranis with a Rapier buddy (killed the 'ranis and scrammed the Rapier, would have had him if I'd been able to drop the drones quickly enough ) but, if I had my time again I think I'd go with this: 2 x 150mm AC II 1 x 'Arbalest' RL 1 x Cat Cold-Gas Arcjet 1 x 1mn AB II 1 x Faint Epsilon Warp Scram 1 x MSE II 1 x MAPC I 1 x Internal Force Field Array 1 x Gyro II 2 x Small CDFE 1 x Aux Thruster EDIT: Forgot drones! 4 x Hobgob II (Your targets will be scrammed, rendering the mobility and tracking of warriors moot and thermal is a decent damage type so you may as well go for the higher overall DPS). With a CPU implant or downgrading the extender to an F-S9 you can cram a Coreli C-Type AB for ludicrous overload speed as well. Nothing else can match its combo of mobility, speed and EHP.
