Hi guys,
I have just installed windows 7 64 bit, all drivers etc are up to date, everything is working fantastically except for one issue within EVE, the screen resolution 1400 x 900 is missing, anyone know whats going on with this? or experiencing the same issue?
I am running an ATI 4870 graphics card, another EVE player is running a Nvidia card and is having the same issue, so I don't believe that my graphics card is the issue.
Some help would be really appreciated. Thanks |

Edited by: K04 78 on 29/04/2010 18:20:28 Hi
I had the exact same problem. Soloution was just way too stupid:
Set another Resoloution on Windows! Then you can ( at least I could ;) ) set the resol. in EVE.
After that, just set back the Win resol.

Thanks for that
I have tried just about everything, including what you have suggested and it still does not work. I have spent far to much time trying to figure this out.
So until I stumble across a solution, I will have to keep using the work around with eve-mon and disabling some features in Windows 7 (which I am not happy about).
If anyone has any suggestions, please throw them in this thread, perhaps someone out there has found something that works that I am yet to try.

Check if the Screen Refresh rate of your monitor is set to 60HZ or the max available for ur monitor then u should see 1440x900 :D
i have NV 9800GTX + with 22" 1920x1080 Monitor and i had the same issue , but after setting the refresh rate to 60HZ i have more resolutions options in EVE

eve online offers the resolutions that are reported via windows. so you have to persuade windows to display those resolutions -- | Capital |

Set your desktop resolution to your preferred "windowed mode" resolution. Start eve online, set the windowed resolution.
After that you can change your desktop resolution to whatever you want, but don't change resolution settings in eve.
