So what's up, IT? War doesn't seem to be going that well, NC have been takin out way more caps then they been losing, PL's knocking at your backdoor, and the NC is gaining ever more momentum. This invasion is poised to go the same way as TRI's.
So what's up guys? How we gonna turn this around? I'm sure you don't wanna disappoint all the bitter ex-nc guise waiting for them to collapse....

Was about that I think, part of the reason was we had terrible intel and had no idea we were about to get dropped. Guns were grouped, auto repeat was on, lag was bad (geminate), now we have learnt from the the greats like atlas we would have ejected some shuttles, perhaps even started a 'good fights' caod thread. 
Tbh Atlas having to crow over a cap fight they won last year, is pretty telling.

Well that "fight" was less than 6 months ago and those wernt shuttles, that's what we call chaffe. You keep 10-20 of em and launch them when tackeled by a pos. The probably came out when his ship exploded or did the eject and hopefully you can bored it after your ship goes down.
If all our carriers launched them at the same time trying to lag out the server, that's an exploit. Your pathetic harping about this the last couple of days is well, pathetic. Please stop crying about it on the forums. No one cares and it's deffinitly not gonna get geminite back for you

There are two things wrong with you
1.) You called me an idiot when clearly you meant to say awesome which leads me to believe you may have a learning disability.
2.) I don't know about you but i keep my ships in the ship maintenance bay in my carrier. These ships are assembled and assembled ships last i checked cant be out in a cargo container/ cargo hold. This leads me to believe that when a carrier explodes, they are ejected into space.

Well, I'm not fussed about spin, propaganda or any of the other stuff but, all I can say is, since the invasion, I log on, and within 30 seconds I'm in a fleet and within 15 minutes I'm on my way to some sort of op or engagement - This is the sort of one-a-year campaign we all spend our time and effort building up to, it's what we all play the game for, and truth told, I'm loving it!
I'm sure SC didn't come here expecting to win with zero losses, and I'm sure NC didn't expect to repel an invasion without losses - Win or lose, thanks SC for bringing it, thanks NC for being strong enough to withstand it, and long may it continue!

*shrug* The "NC" that is now is nothing like what existed back then. It wasn't nearly as organized and defense policy was no where near existence. Sure, there was a blue list that was more or less dictated by D2, but from my perspective, the only really close entities at the time were Morsus Mihi and Razor. D2 pretty much did their own thing and if they told us anything, it was usually at the last minute. Back then, we sort of looked to them as the senior partners.
All I know is that I was always friendly and dealt straight-up with Bobby Atlas. I even kept the secrets he asked me to keep when it would have been politically advantageous at various times to air them. When Atlas Alliance was in its formative stages, I wanted to find a place for them because I liked 'em, but there really wasn't much available at the time. RAWR was itself still growing and asserting itself. I just chalk it up to bad timing, really. Ultimately, they found a home in the east with Smashkill (with whom we were arms-length friendly, at the time). The rest is history. Honestly, I'm pretty happy to see them fourishing.
At no time was the "NC" (such as it was) of that time responsible for the defense of FLA space. I do recall RAWR being deplyed in Fountain at the time and us asking D2 if we should come back up there to help out only to be told "no" and that we were needed where we were. Communication was utter crap. Ultimately, D2 couldn't even defend itself from MC and its friends. Tenal fell. Perhaps Tribute might have fallen as well due to the disparity in capital numbers each side had at the time.
Things are a bit hazy after all these years, but that's my honest recollection.

Not sure, but when I originaly got there Local was full of red and grey, Now its all blue and green but for 1 or 2 reds/greys that hide in system watching us trample through their garden punting flowers. What a change a few weeks makes.
