Thanks for a nice and useful production sheet.
Have a little question. Was looking at a cell in the make sheet. The cost of building a carrier didn't add up with my other calc on the same thing. The ore amount was the same. But not the cost. So i removed protection of the table and got this: =(F142+SUM(B.C1826:C1837))
Can't figure out what sum() is looking at. What is the B.C1826:C1837.
I have managed to get the sheet to get the same price by removing market cost of the components. But i cant let go of the fact that i don't have a clue how the cell work

There is a hidden sheet called "B"
B.C1826:C1837 is a range of cells in that sheet. SUM() tells the spreadsheet to add all the values together.
The "B" sheet is a work sheet generated by a SQL script.
It contains the lines for each item that goes into the manufacturing of a thing.
In this case it will be all the capital components that go into the contruction of a carrier.

Version 1.21 Released.
Fixes.
Found a weird bug that caused certain values ( in the range 250,000 - 350,000 ) to become massive values when written into Either of the Purchase and Build Summaries.
This was down to a Maths error in the Open Office Currency Maths Routines.
Fixed the bug by changing the Buildup Modifier from a Currency Datatype to a Double ( Floating point ) datatype.
1.21 is linked as Version 1.2 in the Original Post.
Self Fix
If you dont wanna download the new version and copy all your data across you can fix the bug by doing the following.
Open Spreadsheet. Select Tools > Macros > Organise Macros > OpenOffice.org Basic
Click in the left hand panel Your spreadsheet name > Standard > module1
Click the Edit button on the right The Macro code window will open
In the Macro Window Select Edit > Find and Replace
In the Search for Box put Dim Markup as Currency
In the Replace with box put Dim Markup as Double
Then click replace all
You should get a message saying 2 replacements were made.
Close the macro code window Save the spreadsheet

Okay for some reason it now worked, but i cannot figure out how to make the prices right. (yes i suck i know)

Looks like the formula to apply is broken.
Clear the Formula to apply and hit reset.
As far as it taking ages to download and lagging out I know its fairly bad. OO doesnt come with nice built in functions to download XML so its a bit hashed together but it gets the values eventually.
Be careful with prices from eve central they are not as accurate as eve metrics used to be.

OO is the spreadsheet to use.
What I was trying to say is You're not doing anything wrong.
The laggyness of the download affects everyone using the sheet. The download is not very good. You dont have to use it , but even as crap as it is its still better than typeing it 5,000 differenct prices.
Check the first few post for tips on optimizing the download.
You can alter the list of downloaded items so there not so much to do each time.
For instance once you have prices for all the meta items in you dont need to download these each time.
So make the list reflect only the items you are interested in building and there sub components and materials there made off.

Please tell me how the sheet can get prices so off! :D
some of them are like 900 million per slot or something stupidly off. even prices for normal items are off :( I checked most prices and all seem normal.
The sheet is like any spreadsheet, It does the maths for you. It does the maths based on the values you give it to work on. Bad values in = Bad values out.
Eve-Central is not a reliable source of information like Eve-Metrics used to be. A lot of the values coming back from eve-central are garbage.
YOU need to check them.

In the prior comment about the inaccurate values, the problem pricing was invul field ii's. They were priced several hundred billion, which once fixed caused all of the incorrect pricing to appear normal. Granted normal may be 5-10% off, but it's a good starting point to see what may be good to sell in the next few hours. If you are expecting a spreadsheet to do all of work, you're going to be sorely disappointed.
Notice I didn't reference lazy, whiny or unappreciative at all in my comments.

Lots of love for this set of spreadsheets.
A small (!) request: What are the chances of getting the Outpost Platform blueprints handled? If Isk would lubricate the wheels, then let me know how much.
Cheers

Try this
Outposts dont have a market group ( cant be sold on the market ) so they are excluded from the spreadsheet by default as the script used to build the sheet needs a marketgroup id to complete succesfully.
I wedged the outposts in by giving them a pretend marketgroup called "outposts".
stuck them in the starbase spreadsheet as this seems like the most logical place to put them.
Let me know if it works ok as I have no clue about building these things and dont know if it all makes sense.
As far as isk goes. The sheets are provided free with no guarantee of fitness for purpose or any guarantee.
However having said that any isk donations are allways welcome :)
Whatever it is worth to you.

Can you post a screenie of what you have?
There should be no black on dark blue. Colors should be as seen in the screenshot ( Original post ).
Which version of O.O. are you using ?

Does your profit per day not take into account how many BPO's you enter? I don't see how the profit can remain unchanged if you increase throughput. Also, you should factor in volume traded in jita in your profit per day. It does no good to be able to build 1000 gizmo's in a day if only 10 are actually being sold each day.

The profit per day column is intended as a guide to compare one product to another at a glance, In order to help people decide what to build.
It is an estimation of the total profit available at current prices ( purchases and sales ) for commiting one manufacturing line to the task for 1 day.
It is like this because manu slots are a limited resource for any player and showing most profitable constuction enables player to max out the money they make from munufacturing.
It could be that you spend 1 day building X ( slow seller ) and 9 days building Y ( fast seller ) and sell all products made in 10 days.
It is not meant to be an accurate prediction of how much money you will end up with.
Sorry that too complicated to predict.
As you say volumn comes into the equation. So does sales stratergy. Sell as fast as you build / build differing items and trickle sell etc etc. So do price fluctuations over the total constuction time due to supply and demand.

Yeah, I know there is a lot too it. Don't get me wrong, I love these sheets. They are very clean and organized. It would be handy though if we could at least see the volume traded somewhere on the sheet and also a page for sorting profitable t1 production (with volume). I think the information is there, it just needs sorted and moved around. I suck with excel ^.^ Anyway, good stuff.

Thank you for this excellent spreadsheet.
I have one question, is there a formula that I can use to update the current stock on each item from another sheet?
I want to export my assets (typeID, Count) from jEveAssets and import them into a new sheet. typeIDs may be repeated so the counts should be summed for each typeID in the new sheet.

You need the SUMIF Function
SUMIF(test_range; condition; sum_range)
put the function in the first stocklevel row
test_range should point to the column of typeid's in your sheet and should use absolute addressing.
test_range would be something along the lines of YourSheetName.$A$1:$A$1000 assuming typeid is the first col in your sheet
condition would point to the type id col in the buy sheet with a relative reference Something like H3
sum_range should point to the quantity column in your sheet and should use absolute addressing.
so sum_range would be something along the lines of YourSheetName.$B$1:$B$1000 assuming quantity is the second col in your sheet
After putting the function in the first stock level row you should be able to copy and paste it into the rest of the stock level rows
