What, you mean Susanna Thompson who played the Borg Queen in four episodes across 1999 - 2000?
According to IMDB she's not credited for voice work and they normally do credit those jobs on that site.
Only CCP knows who they got for the voice acting.

well, i guess IGN paid nice dollar, to get exclusive trailer for its own promotion.
though sucks for us players, to watch crappy quality on slow ass cite with big ass loge in the corner.
but on other side, CCP getting some promo market-value. which is a good thing.
though don't get your pride in the way. you know how slow and unforeseen can this all end.

In other news: Abate mocking "this game looks awesome can't wait" comments by eve community by 1.fixing sound engine and 2.introducing advanced camera modes. I mean, that's all that really seems different.
And maybe an end to lag.
An end to 'powerball' primary-calling combat.
Weapon animations that actually miss rather than 'miss'
Anti aliasing in addition to HDR
Motion blur
Depth of field
...but, they are the only real differences that I can see...

Nice trailer indeed. Just too much battle and waaayy too little PI showing. From a 2-3 minute long video we saw less then 10% of it with PI! Thats sad!
They did show you all the pi content in that 10%. The rest was just some pew pew filler to make it exciting.

I'm not going to knock it as rubbish, because it was briefly entertaining. But certainly, one of the things that I loved doing was to show people the trailers for Eve and say, "That's 100% in-game footage."
It really made a strong statement about the game. This might as well be a trailer for any old video game, except that we recognize the ships.
So, bottom line. I think the trailers are going in the wrong direction. BUT, hopefully it appeals to folks and brings them into the game. |

awesome trailer!!! but well if people start playing eve after this trailer they will be very dissapointed ^^

Very good, has the usual movie trailer like feel to it. To bad the game doesn't look like that. To bad its not reality, but then neither is Star Wars. Never mind, hopefully an Eve and Star Wars hybrid galactic wide society will be what the future is like. Pity I won't live long enough to experience it.

The last good trailers were the short ones of quantum rise.
This new kind of advertising of ccp might be more effective, but theese new trailers make me feel bad that i play this game.

I love this game, and thankfully don't have to put up with the bull known as "fleet fights". That said, CCP, you are getting more and more towards utter blatant misrepresentation, and your trailer impressive as it looks, is bordering on lying.
