So here I sit in afghanistan, wondering when the internet gods will bless this wretched base with unblocked internet so I can spend the time im not shooting things irl shooting internet spaceships (so much better mind you) and I started going back to those heart pounding moments in EvE.
Back in the day when I first started my one man corp (which has now grown conciderably) I decided that the 3 years of ISK made mining and playing the market game should be spent shooting things....well I decided, that although I wasnt much of an RPer, I didnt much like the way the PIE guys did things....so being the Amarr guy I was, I decided to go out and war dec them. Boy where they surprised...at first I got the OOC mails of why and really?!?
Well turns out that I gave em more of a fight than most of the hundred man corps out there. Of course I ended up being branded some sort of heretic for wanting to free slaves and whatnot and I lost like 3 NavPocs, but it was great fun. They didnt even mind that I would dock to rep cuz I always came back out swinging...sorta like boxing..exept I was fighting many bees and they were winning.
Anyways, one of the more memorable fights was when I got my NavPoc and the new EWAR frigs had come out...they decided to use a few of them...well I managed to kill off a few, dock up, came back shot more and finally someone from another corp pushed me off teh station...kinda sucked but funny enough the PIE guys stopped firing. I got back close and the shooting started and well in the end I died to about I think 150 to 200k worth of dmg. :) Needless to say I was station hugging, but I guess since I was willing to fight so much we had a silent agreement that stated I could station hug as long as I didnt abuse it too much.
Anyways I also remember still being war decced when Chribba did that Navy Apoc giveaway thing (he also gave away a massive amount of other ships) A few guys showed up, but by then we were cool...we made a small agreement that we would fight after the event was over...bunch of great guys they were....
Anyways, this is a wall of text and I gotta go back out to the ****...just trying to relive some of the better moments while I can...Fly safe guys

I could do that but then again I have to use a proxy just to use the forums and I'm in a hot bothersome tent in the middle of nowhere....so yeah I kinda wanna go cool off
