Whenever I shoot some ships or structures up I always open the cargo then salvage. As a result I have a cargohold / items full of stuff. I take a look at the items & think "That might come in handy one day" so I keep it. Does anyone else do this or is it just me?

Ever heard of station cans...they are cheap you know and can be renamed just like corp hangars...and hold a crapton of stufz too.
P.S.
I might be the biggest hoarder in game....I still have all meta 4 items from since I started playing 4.5 yrs ago and never sell|repro|thrash ammo from npcs..or even use it for that matter.
And that only 2 examples.
P.P.S.
In case you are still not sure,I have reached 9.93 faction standing with all 4 empire factions...atta load of missions.

I also have a container for ammo, one for salvage and the stuff I generally use on my ships is in the normal items bay :)

I used to hoard, until I ended up with 5 or 6 freighters full of stuff. I decided to only keep meta 3+ stuff and build ships for pvp with the minerals from reprocessing all that junk. Now it only takes me 3 freighter trips to move all my stuff, most of which is ships and minerals.

I already had mental sequence "right click > select all > repackage > reprocess" before I realized that it was an image
