Hello,
i just looked up how my corp logo looks on
eve-gate and im a bit annoyed.
Our current Corp-Logo is a Circle, which is split in two halfs by a sword, which has some symbolic meaning for a few of us.
now looking at evegate (after learning that other corp logos had been changed aswell),
it raises the question: what are you thinking?
you might not have realized, but a lot of corps are using their corp logo for a whole bunch of graphics,
be it on headers, on signatures or even on tshirts.
That:
has nothing todo with us, its a different symbol, a different meaning, a different style and totally not acceptable.

The logo was heavy, strong, powerful. With this (intentional, as you said) change it¦s not just nowhere the same, it¦s just unreadable, the scaling of the elements was changed.

I understand that logos was reworked. I accept that some graphics was slightly changed.
But changing relative scaling of elements is either a bug that needs fixing (and is rather easy one to fix), or a personal offence against corporations whose logos was changed to complete loss of meaning and readability.

Your apology is all you can give for this terrible offence?
And what is so hard in opening the original file, adding 5-10% scale and re-render the images? Even for me, a person miles away from any and all artwork, it¦s a matter of seconds. Minutes at worst.

The ring with the star is a place holder.
You're logo design should remain the same but the effect may change. It's possible that you'll be able to get something close if not the same but there is a high chance you'll need to do a redesign.
Isn't high resolution fun?...

heh you should ask my ceo about it, he was mad enough to tatoo our corp logo on his arm...
now it looks totally different :D

OUCH. That's going to suck. Ah well, he can get another one? It's like a physical Employment history!

Pop in-game on SiSi and you'll likely be able to recreate your logo as it is on TQ. I have an alt corp, who's corp logo works perfectly on TQ and on SiSi, but on EVE Gate, I get the same placeholder image that you've linked.

As Avalon Ranger has already pointed out, the logo you see on EVE Gate right now is just a placeholder image. The image rendering system we use to export character, corp and alliance logos to the web is still in testing phase and not always up and running. In fact, it has not been rendering for quite some time now, this is why you do not see your proper logo on EVE Gate yet.
We'll look into getting it up and running again, check your corp logo again in a few day's time. If you just want to check what the new hires version of it looks like, go on Sisi and take a look at it there.
