We at 0ccam's Razor are looking to recruit new members into our corporation,
what sets us apart from everyone else crying out for your 2 minutes of attention on this board ? Please, read on !
A brief introduction
First what you need to know is, why was 0ccam's Razor formed, and how.
Basically, the 3 Founding members (John Adamantis, Mark Sunamises and Myself) where all part of some big alliance before we created 0ccam's Razor. RAZOR, Morsus Mihi, Rule of Three, Frontal Impact, Digital Renegades, ... We've been around the block and we'd seen a few sides of the universe. We decided however, that we had enough of being peon's, listening to "the top brass" and that we wanted more accountability for actions, more say and a more relaxed setting in EVE.
With this in mind we created the 0ccam's Razor corporation.
Just as the principle of Occam's Razor (yes its not the correct English spelling) states, we too operate under the rule of:
- If multiple paths lead to the same outcome, he simplest solution is the best. (our rephrase of the Occam's Razor theory)
This basically means we don't over complicate stuff, we don't like drama, and that we continuously strive to keep things simple, clean and neat.
We also founded the corporations on a few different principles and goals, I'll list them so that you can get to know our corp a bit more:
- 0ccam's Razor corporation is a "family", meaning we look out for our own, look out for your corp members and treat them with the respect they deserve, and you will be treated with the same
- 0ccam's Razor is a PVP Corp, as such we continuously strive, with respect to our other founding principles, to evolve and adapt to EVE's state and heading. We ask our members also be this level headed, willing to change their gameplay from time to time, and be involved with the corporation and thinking ahead in EVE.
- We don't like immaturity, drama or any of that stuff in the corporation. We expect you to be a mature member (although a lot of trolling and laughing is too be had inside corporation channels) and a representation of the corporation to the outside world.
- You get your isk whichever way you wish, but that doesn't mean you can scam corp / alliance / blue's or "steal" from them in terms of ninja ratting or alike. You are, however, allowed to do whatever the hell you want to our reds !
This is our basic and most important list. We have some different principles that you'll find out about should you choose to join our corporation but these are the most important ones.
What they spell out is, don't be a **** or asshat to corp / alliance members, enjoy your corporation, mix and mingle and be a REAL corp not just a enumeration of members inside of a collection.
Now, what do we offer new recruits ?
- Access to prime upgraded 0.0 Systems to rat / Plex / Mine in, located in the sunny Insmother region
- Access to our ship replacement program after you reach full member status (ie: after you pass your trial period)
- The opportunity to be in one of the (my opinion) funnest corporation, with really great corp members.
- Corporation run logistics ops to move assets around on a fairly regular basis
What we expect from our new members:
- Capable to live out in 0.0 without too much support needed (you can make isk on your own)
- Have the capability, or be willing to train up to, pilot Stealth Bombers with bomb deployment
- Speak, read and write English properly (as long as we understand you, its ok)
- Have a working microphone with both Ventrillo aswell as teamspeak 2 installed

We are looking for:
EU & US timezone players !
How the recruitment process goes:
You will first talk to myself or "Mark Sunamises" a.k.a. "St Elsewhere" in game, we will then "make a appointment" to be on our Teamspeak server and we will talk to you on there a bit. Ask you some questions about your past EVE experience, what kind of person you are in real life (Age, Sex, Married yes / no) to get to know you a bit more and if we like you and you sound good, you will almost immediatly be asked to apply to the corporation & be introduced to our members.
If for some reason we run out of time (good sign) or one of us (Mark Sunamises or myself) need to go, then you will be notified within approx. 24 - 36 hours if you've been accepted or not, or we will ask you for a 2nd meeting on our teamspeak server.
A sound word of advice, don't worry about the recruitment process too much. We are all fairly laid back and all of us are pretty much jokers inside the corporation, one way or another, over time the "truth" about you will come out. So be yourself if / when your on teamspeak with us and everything will work out.
We aren't looking for only the most experienced, wealthy and Uberhigh SP players (although we don't mind  ) but we are looking for solid people to join our corporation, people who we can have fun with, joke around with and get joked around BY !
