A bunch of Inventors from Science & Industry want to Eliminate All T2 BPOS because using Invention to make modules is more expense and they claim they cannot compete.
If Invention is more expensive and T2 BPOS are eliminated then ALL T2 stuff, modules, ships and ammo will get more expensive.
So if you do not want T2 stuff to get more expensive then post your objection/opposition here.

A rise in T2 module price would be good for EVE in several ways.

A rise in T2 prices is in order, they are far undervalued for their benefits compared to comparable T1 and named stuff. Of course I speak as one of those researchers who spent huge amounts of money and time training skills to produce T2 stuff that sells at T1 prices. <emorage>

I totally miss the prices from pre-Invention days. 5 mil HH II's? Yes please! Yeah I am a pirate. What are you gonna do about it? http://www.wi-alliance.com/killboard/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=32678 http://roadkill.igs-corp.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=32678 |

I say either remove them entirely or reintroduce them via lottery/lp/whatever.
This nonsense of having a set number in existance forever (or until they get destroyed) is counter to any idea of a truly player driven market.
That said, only emoraging industrialists who can't do math think the T2 BPOs are hurting them. Their impact on the market is insignificant.

T2 mods are too cheap
They should cost at least double, except for those mods that cost over 4 mil already PvP is too cheap, less respect for power.

Remove invention.
T2 modules are to cheap. Invention is to easy and insanely tedious. It cuts into t2 bpo holders income which is putting an unfair stress on older players.
Oh, and why is there no crossposting subsection of the forums, seeing how popular it is.. Parrots, commence!

Bah humbug.
Common T2 mods like Cap Recharge II, 10MN MWD II etc, are already demanded in volumes that outstrip the production capacity of their T2 BPOs. The vast majority of their volume is made up by invention, their prices are set by inventors, and that invention is indeed profitable(ish).
T2 things that nobody wants to buy, like, umm, the Lachesis IIRC have all of their demand met by T2 BPO holders... because there is so little demand for them. These are the things that will see a price rise. But who cares? Nobody buys those things anyway, otherwise the volume demand would make invention profitable. --- Some days you are the pigeon, and some the statue. |

They are just crybabying. I have absolutely no problem competing in the T2 market using invention.
