Just boot camped the 64bit version of windows 7 professional onto my Mac Book Pro 13in Late 09 generation.
Windows works fine and several other downloaded applications work just as they should IE evemon and eft.
I downloaded the windows TQ client and installed it. No problems there.
When I try to run eve the initial window pops up (the small windowed dominion banner) that window then closes and the game tries to start up. At that point it just stops responding.
Help please?

454,
I too have fought this battle with the latest bootcamp; but with a brand new iMac (ATI card) a LOT of driver research, temperature monitoring, 3rd party programs to monitor / manage Win7 resources.... I have given up on the stability & reliability of the Eve client in a 'bootcamp' partition on my iMac.
I'm now a fulltime Mac O/S Eve player & have never looked back. My guess (purely a guess as no info was provided) is that your video driver or collection of resources for the video display is in conflict with the client & bootcamp video driver. Again; just a guess as I do not or have not attempted to use a Mac Book Pro.
My free (worthless) advice is to run the Mac client of Eve and enjoy (if it is stable). If it is not stable in your Mac O/S enviornment, maybe someone can assist. (I fought the bootcamp / win7 partition for 40 days. Daily I experienced crashes, freezes etc.).

Did you do an apple software update after installing bootcamp drivers to Windows 7?
I'm running Win 7 Home Premium on a Macbook air flawlessly, but I did also update my GFx drivers from NVIDIA direct.

I am running Eve both on OSX and my Win7 bootcamp install on my iMac 27", so I wonder where your problem lies?
Its important to use the OSX CD to update Win7 after the fresh install, THEN go to windows update and do those as well.
I run many games on Win7 with no problems so far.

Yes, I used the OSX CD & post-updated the WIN7 O/S as well. I haven't seen this mentioned (or missed it), but I assume all are using the 3.1v of bootcamp (updated since the release of the 10.x installed Bootcamp.)
I also researched ATI for drivers, install pkgs etc. I ran apps in the background to see if the temps were bad etc. Eve client simply refuses to be stable in the WIN7 O/S. It mostly happens when I type in chat boxes or spin up the IGB. That's what drives me nutty in WIN clients; the amt of driver issues for certain products...
