Hey everyone! After multiple barriers, a friend can build me one Hel, Class SuperCarrier. But the main problem on the ship is his fitting. I saw people on Shield Tank, Armor Tank and yet another Dual-Tank. Either very diversified ... So, what would you suggest or recommend on the fitting for hotdrops with carriers ? Thanks for yours futures reponses and comments.
Her is a fitting i have immagined:
[Hel, HotDrop Shield Tank] Damage Control II Setele's Modified Power Diagnostic System Setele's Modified Power Diagnostic System Chelm's Modified Capacitor Power Relay Chelm's Modified Capacitor Power Relay
Dread Guristas Invulnerability Field Dread Guristas Invulnerability Field Dread Guristas Invulnerability Field Pith X-Type Heat Dissipation Field Pith X-Type Photon Scattering Field Domination Warp Disruptor Brynn's Modified Sensor Booster, Scan Resolution

MS really need a point to hold stuff down seeing as they can't be jammed. I would also go with 4x CPR and a DCU in lows because you'll need the cap for RR and jumping about.

CN PDS's give you lots of buffer, raise EHP from 16mEHP to 21mEHP
can perma run highs (bar one rep and ECM)
leave the point to support and make sure you have 2 reppers on, you get a bonus to repping and not much else can be useful in highs ( already got 2 smartbombs, neut and ECM burst)

The cap rechargers are ridiculously expensive, and you don't have a point or sensorbooster..

You are living in 2009 Sok, nobody does serious RR with their mom anymore, it's all about suicide triage carriers now so you want to max the EHP.
For the op, either go shield tank with CN PDS's instead of officer PDS/CPR, or go dual tank without the officer rechargers. --- I smack just for myself. Allow faction cap boosters to be traded via normal market ! |

As far as I know the cap requirements to jump around have not changed.

As far as i know Amarr/Caldari carriers still have a cap transfer bonus, and carriers still maintain their functionality as mobile bases, allowing a quick refit. :) --- I smack just for myself. Allow faction cap boosters to be traded via normal market ! |

True but I wouldn't want to die somewhere because I wasn't able to jump out in time. However with loads of carrier support it should be less of a problem.
Hmmmz..

Edited by: TheLordofAllandNothing on 10/05/2010 20:29:12 Sokratez is a titan pilot last time i checked so i would be more inclined to go with his line of thought on supercapital fitting. And you DO want a lot of cap regen in supercaps especially, it takes a ****ing age to regen the cap up to jump out by yourself, with lots of carriers with you that isnt as much of a problem.

Well I just ran the numbers and he has a point, you gain quite a bit of EHP by fitting CN PDU's. You also lose a lot of cap obviously but if there is enough support that shouldn't be a problem.
It's just the whole being dependent on your fleet that I'm not to keen on but if the carriers are fitted right then it should work out.
