Greetings Casuleers of New Eden today I come bearing some news of a little distress. Currently in the Khanid Region of space some pirates and vililans are trying to stop the flow of natural trade. I-Red has always been and always will be an honorable alliance. We will stand up to the bullies in this universe and we will help those honest traders in need. In that veign we will be releasing a small elite force of our bravest and strongest pilots to put a stop to this piracy and all around villany by standing with the Khanid Provincial Vanguard in their time of need. They are honest trade partners and anything to disrupt that trade is a direct attack on Ishukone. We don't fight because we enjoy it. We fight to ensure that the supplies and natural resources of the area can be traded without threats and interuption from nothing more than thugs and bullies. We fight so everyone can prosper in this vast universe.

Just quoting this for posterity. (from the description of Khanid Provincial Vanguard)
Quote: The Khanid Provincial Vanguard is looking for Loyal Subjects of His Royal Majesty King Khanid II; those select few capsuleers with the zeal of the reighteous, and with the conviction to answer the call to serve the Kingdom.
Loyal to King Khanid II above all, the Khanid Provincial Vanguard was initially charged with securing the often dangerious outlands of the Khanid Kingdom. With their faith in their King and Lord above all, they worked tirelessly towards bringing some measure of peace to the often dangerous outer-regions of the Kingdom, combating piracy, lawlessness, and corruption wherever it was found.
This work continues today, in our newest incarnation. We have successfully re-opened the corporation after a long period of hibernation, and are growing at an exciting rate.
Join us as we attempt to protect the weak, punish the wicked, and bring the King's Justice to all who would seek to try our patience.
Anti-pirate organization. Contact us if you're in need of aid.

Other features, such as the importance of religion and slavery, are also very much alike in the two states. In fact, the kingdom takes slavery even further than the empire. The Amarr Empire uses almost exclusively Minmatar and Ealur slaves, but the kingdom, denied many of their traditional slave sources, take slaves wherever they can find them. Khanid himself has a Gallentean - a former pop-star - as his personal slave, something he finds highly amusing but makes the Gallenteans frothing at their mouths.

The 1st Praetorian Guard is a military unit attached to the Amarr Navy. The Guard serves as special forces that are usually employed near the frontline or behind enemy lines.
khanid slavers, amarr slavers, well my oh my...I seem to recall a whole mess of drama rather recently where I-RED swore up and down not to be a lapdog ally of the Empire and its Slaver capsuleers.

By that logic the Amarr have already converted the entire capsuleer community, seeing as every capsuleer has somewhere in their history had non-hostile dealings with an Amarr.
In fact, Star Fraction are Sani Sabik cultists themselves and thus pro-Empire. ____

Ihe irony here is that this might not have happened if the Star Fraction hadn't attempted to impose their will on I-RED and then assassinated John Revenant when they only conceded to 90% of SF's demands.

I'm sure thats the reason. Much more likely than John Revenent simply being disposed to collaborating with slavers as he did in Providence under the CVA right. Not like anybody has publicly executed him at his own memorial to protest that fact right?
Because good-hearted anti-slavers always turn 180 and become slavers to to protest their wrongful categorization by heroic freespacers in the Amarrian storybooks right?
Quote: Still, given SF's track record it will come as no surprise to see them condemn someone for trying to defeat piracy.
We prefer Pirates to Imperialist Slavers. Order built on regressive nationalist principle utilizing the organized inhumanity of the slave camp is worse than criminal disorder. This should really come as no surprise to you. But then again, given your support and long-standing apologist handwringing over Garst Tyrell's anti amarrian industrial corp piracy I'm not sure you should be throwing stones in this glass house.

You mean when we investigated Tyrell, found that his corp had done wrong and adjusted our standings accordingly?
That doesn't sound like apologist had-wringing to me.
And what does a work of fiction have to do with it, anyway?

The painful process of twisting your arm to prevent you making Tyrell "amarrian of the year" was rather hilarious to see. You certainly didn't make a very clear declaration of condemnation there. No wonder you supported John Revenent's mealy-mouthed evasions, he's cut from the same cloth.

What I note is that the announcement that has been made here is entirely in accordance with the previous public anouncement made by Ishuk-Raata.
Originally by: "Ishuk-Raata public statement, YC112.04.10"
Over the past weeks Ishukone-Raata has been conducting internal talks on our mission in Providence and our mission to our parent organisation Ishukone Corporation. With our shortcomings in Providence and surrounding theaters, Ishukone and the Command Staff of Ishukone-Raata have come to the conclusion to pull military assets out of the campaign in Providence and the Amarr Empire.
We however will continue trade with our allies, and will continue with our plans to create a I-RED operational department within the Khanid Kingdom. This being said due to the withdrawl of Ishukone-Raata Military Forces from the theater we will be adjusting our standings toward select groups to ensure Enforcer and economical security within our Caldari State Operations which include the Black Rise/Placid Regions, so our KOS list will be reset in turn.
We would like to give our apologies for the failure in our efforts to our allies this is a dishonor everyone at Ishukone-Raata will have to deal with for years to come. We will continue to offer mutual trade contracts and will keep opportunities for profit will be available in the near future to our friends and allies in the area.
REF:GalNet link (my emphasis in places)
The evidence is therefore very strong that Ishuk-Raata stand by this position and it is therefore entirely clear that when John Revenent indicated that he stood on this announcement, when asked to clarify if he repudiated slavery, slavers and the CVA, it was no more than the simple truth.
That is important because it demonstrates that there has been no change in Ishuk-Raata policy between the time of the announcement I have quoted and this new one. The simple, plain fact is that by their words and deeds Ishuk-Raata support slavery, slaver regimes and their paramilitaries.
The Khanid Provincial Vanguard are hardline adherents of the Amarr religion and the policies of King Khanid, who is now, let us remember, a full member of the Privy Council of the Amarr Empire.
The KPV would describe, and have described, actions by freedom fighters and others parties against slave transports as 'piracy'. Ishuk-Raata are now openly committed to fighting to protect slave trafficking carried out by the Khanid Provincial Vanguard and other allies.
Dupes, liars and race traitors will continue to hoot and bray that the Star Fraction 'drove' Ishuk-Raata to this. Nonsense. The political record is plain and clear: Ishuk-Raata never left the embrace of the slavers and the paramilitaries, and their own public pronouncements show this.
When I said only yesterday that it wouldn't surprise me to see Ishuk-Raata ships flying alongside the CVA, it was on the basis of their political record, so while they haven't come to that yet (though may well in the course of working with the KPV), it by no means surprises me that they are now in a military alliance with the KPV.
The only people who could be surprised by it are those who actually believed that Ishuk-Raata had turned its back on slavery and the slavers.

It's safe to try to assume something is there spending as much time spamming these discussion boards instead of asking our intentions. We know you desecrated a memorial service and executed our Leader when you already asked for parley. We know you need to think we are slavers or slaver sympathizers to save some of the last sheds of your dignity. Once again you are wrong but that shouldn't be much of a surprise to most of the audience.
I-Red is an honorable alliance and we try to trade with others of like identities. Our current trade relations with the Khanid Provincial Vanguard have been based around the knowledge that no slave labor was used in the production of these materials. That's why we call them honest traders. We get better work and product from a man making his own way. Because of that we get a better price from a better product. Maybe we even get some change in a positive manner. We all know eventually there will be freedom in the universe. We just prefer not to pave the freedom trail with innocent blood. We've had this argument before and we will always differ in view. You can reseach the past records of the summit if you wish We are anti-slavery but we are not murderers or terrorists.
Even when we worked with the CVA Bloc we tried to release as many slaves as possible through diplomatic means instead of blowing up the ships the slaves were actually on. Most amazing to me is I am an ex-slave and was released through I-Red and they gave me the chance to become a pod pilot. I was young and naive and traveled and learned the ways of the universe. One day I found myself returning to I-Red based on the knowledge and expeianced I gained and I found that they are doing something positive for the universe. Fighting Piracy, ensuring free trade, and doing it all while still standing by their morals. Myself, an ex-slave released through this organization and you dare call us sympathizers?
OH! I see your reasoning it's obviousley we have to be slaver sympathizers because of our preferance to use diplomacy and fact instead of baselessly shouting about it and blowing up any ship that looks like it once traded with an Amarr? I believe we have done more for positive change by showing how a slave based economy is not as profitable as an economy run on free workers than your baseless shouting ever has and your shooting of ships mostly flown by slaves. You shed innocent blood and call us in the wrong.
Our goal in this operation is to stand against pirates and thugs. Our standings have always been based this way. We will not shoot neutrals or anyone for that matter unless they have proven to be a pirate or have attacked Ishukone assets. All this time you have been posting in this summit and the whole time you have said very little. You do not know our alliance and how we operate. You assume one thing and call it fact and almost always you are wrong. Luckily we do not seek your approval in our methods. We seek Captains to be free to fly safely and to trade without fear of pirates. We seek a peaceful end to slavery. We will also stand with honorable alliances against tyrants, bullies and pirates. In this case the Khanid Provincial Vanguard have shown themselves to be the honorable ones. You are trying to make something out of misinformation to somehow save your standings with the rest of the community. If you would like to know our intentions we have no issue talking with you about it but before you go around throwing assumptions around as fact atleast leave a disclaimer so people can remember to just skip reading whatever drivel it is you have to relay next.

Ishukone-Raata is still in a defensive agreement with the Khanid Provincial Vanguard, meaning I-RED and its enforcers will assist the KV-P when our income is slowed or stopped due to acts of war or piracy to ensure a swift recovery.
I will note the agreement above is out of date, and has been amended to ensure further safety of our economical activities in the area.
