i was given a load of station containers, there capacity is claimed to be 1 million m/3, i put some drones in one but they are now greyed out and i can`t take them out, is this a bug in this type of container and is the capacity wrong as well.

YES! Its shame u cannot turn off the audit/unlock options, they would make perfect inventory folders. Can't re-cycle them into minerals either, which is a shame as I have 10 of them and don't want them. The Level 1 agents seem to give them out like candy atm.

They cant be repackged for 2 weeks (IIRC) after having been used as they have audit logs. They are obvisously intended to be used in corps that have overgrown the current hanger system. --------------------------------------------------

I so wish these things could be moved, NOT deployed in space just moved. Repackage them they take up 10k m3 and can't be assembled unless in a station.... this would raise the usefulness 100 fold. A corp could then move them around to offices that need them instead of letting them rot away in over populated mission systems where they get no use because 90% of the time the corp is not based there.

What about us individuals who have outgown the single hanger system?
The first few containers you get are great; one for drones, one for ammo... makes it a lot easier than leaving things lying all over the hanger floor or split accross multiple containers. But then you start running out of things to do with them. I have so many station containers/vaults from agent running that I am using one just for dog tags. It's 0.0004% full. :-)

If it keeps up at this rate we'll be having one for each ammo type and size.
Yes, I wish there was as option check box "[X] Lock items on insertion" that you could turn off.
Yes, I wish they were only something like 1,000m¦ when unassembled and can only be assembled in a hangar (personal or corporate).
Yes, I wish you could at least refine the things. I got (as a reward ) 18 of the things from a single mission
Not trashing them yet though, not until I see how this all pans out. -- Intergalactic Teeth Pullers "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." Albert Einstein |
