I hear H-W is the system by which the whole NC/SC war is decided. The rest of the systems don't matter.

Youre numbers look correct Sextus 8 caps killed before dt, 18 killed after dt and another 4 killed this morning, The support numbers i cant be bothered to add up, but lets just say a fair few. looks like Atlas bore the brunt of the cap losses.

The fights in H-W (when I could actualy log in) were actualy pretty good fun, if a bit (ok, a lot) laggy. It realy sucks that so much epic pew is lost to lag /node crashes /stuff. If the system would actualy load and we could have had a proper 1600 man+ NC vs SC slugfest it would have been fkin awesome, whatever the outcome.
Not being able to form an effective fleet and give you guys the epic battle we all wanted due to huge numbers not actualy being able to log on /blackscreening is inexcusable in a game marketed as a fully implemented single-shard universe.
Looking forward to the battles to come.

Firm stand aka logging in everyone and they're alt to lag up/crash a system. pro strategery.

Well, NC gave you "a real fight" when stuck in a bubbled station without the possibility to use most of their supercaps. I hope next time most of you will stop whinning and go to fight when the situation goes bad.
NC don't use crashnode tactics and hacks and so on, people like you just try to save a rest of honor...
Originally by: Cone Filler ...reports also states that people are being kicked from eve in favour of NC pilots. This is a clear breach of the EULA...

Kitchen sink
Err, if I remember correctly that was the plan Molle announced around April Fools Day. You remember? IT's teamspeak server? He was talking about crashing nodes and stuff. Apparently it worked. Unfortunately it didn't do so in your favour as can be concluded from your tears.
Next time you should think of a real plan rather than bringing the kitchen sink...

State of mechanics have been known since a few weeks after Dominion was released. CCP even acknowledged the problem.
Seems strange to willingly attack a coalition directly then complain because the system cannot possibly support it.

kinda surprised nobody's mentioned the 5 dead supercarriers on CAOD yet (+18 dreads, 5 carriers, and some subcaps)
Originally by: random SC pleb SC super carriers down, saw at least an aeon and a nyx. We all logged on and we were decently numbered for a second, but once the titans got on grid it was downhill from there for that particular spot, looks like doomsdays and titan dps did most the damage anyway. NC look to have a slight advantage on support numbers, but out numbered us in caps and supercaps especially. fight still going on.
Originally by: TRIguy As far as H-W fight after DT goes, SC logs in, was all told to warp somewhere. I hear dreads siegeing at the spot, when I land in my battleship there was cluster of dreads, titans and subcaps. We were clearing mostly dictors/hictors with BSs, I *assume* to get them off supercaps so they can jump out. In the end NC brought more and more titans (someone on comms said 20+ ?) and that sealed the deal.
5 motherships dead for SC and I belive AAA titan was tackled for short time but he managed to get out. Assorted number of carriers/dreads dead as well ofc.
Not sure why we sieged dreads but I can only speculate that it was to try and save supercaps ? Anyway, GF to NC.

They were counting on node crashing to work for them, were they not? Wasn't that in Molle's initial plan?

In my experience, when someone creates a massive blob and thinks to themselves "heh, got such a big blob now I can't possible lose this one" and then find that their enemies have indeed managed to muster a bigger blob then they resort to making outlandish claims of "ahh, they're trying to crash the node eh?"
Without exploiting a buggy piece of code "crashing the node" is not something you can just go out and do. Pretty obvious really as nodes dont often crash these days.

Originally by: MyHonIa Thats not a battle report. A battlereport would go something like this.
"Last weekend forces of the Southern Coalition began laying siege to the system of H-W9ty.
Day 1. The station services were the first casualties as a massive SC armada decended upon the system, Sovereignty Blockade Units were established to succesfully convey the message to Concord that the system was being contested. Once the "SBU"'s had received the acknowledgement signal from Concord officials the station and infrastructure hub were readily assaulted and even though the onboard crews fought valiantly to keep the shields up both structures were put into reinforced. There were no markable presence of a defence fleet. After the reinforcement the SC fleet went on an all out attack on the systems remaining infrastructure by reinforcing several onlined moon towers as well as outright destroying several which were either unmanned or in the process of powering up. Several SC capitals were tackled and destroyed away from the fleet by a hastily assembled defence fleet at that time, it is beleived the capitals were suffering from increased resonance in the mainframes due to poor maintenance forcing the ships computers to enact emergency protocols warping the ships off the fields.
Day 2 of the siege started off badly for the Southern Coalition as the Northern Coalition managed to get more and more ships fueled and ready in system. Even though they fought hard they were in the end pushed back into defensive formations at their respective staging towers orbiting several moons in system, allowing the NC to muster their forces in relative peace. Ships that had previously been stuck inside the stations docking ring could now safely be released and used in the ongoing siege. Unfortunate events later in the day forced the NC to rethink their strategies though as the SC capital fleet succesfully engaged and destroyed a large portion of the NC capital fleet during a single battle which raged for almost 2 hours. With the daring move by the SC they regained system supremacy and managed to re-blockade the systems station, but it was not to last. Late in the evening the NC rallied all the forces they could find and went on a massive push in the system and as the hapless SC had to cower in their towers the unthinkable happened, a SC Leviathan class titan captained by admiral Beehatch of the Atlas Alliance was suddenly and violantly propelled out of the towers protective shield were it was quickly tackled and put under fire eventually succombing to the combined efforts of the entire NC fleet, it is as yet unknown exactly what transpired as there are varying reports coming from either side of the battlelines. The loss of the Titan was a severe blow to SC morale and NC forces managed to keep up system supremacy for a full 36 hours afterwards.
Day 3. SC forces have been blockaded in system and now cannot leave. Several breakout attempts have occured causing the loss of men and material as NC forces are constantly vigilant. A silver lining though has happened for the SC as their leaders can now tell them the full extent of the operation. Several other major systems of the NC have fallen including 2 station systems during the time the NC fleet was tied down defending H-W9TY"
This report is epic, Good read :), it's pretty accurate aswell.. sounds like you were in the fight with us
