There has been said alot already on deadspace missions, but i want to add some of the observations i made doing missions this weekend: 1) Deadspace missions occur too often.... and im not talkin about damsel mission here. I did about dozen deadspace Bloodriders' missions almost straigh in a row this weekend.
2) Respawn. It seems to be random, but sometimes it is being a little bit too random . I have a screenshot of my journal where you can see bounty for sansha demon (30k ceptor rat), then couple of others, then 11 minutes later (i had to warp out to repair) same sansha demon, then one more ship, then 8 minutes later the same god damn sansha demon again. Im often ending up killing frig rats at beacon 3-5 times, and 2-3 times each cruiser, until some spawn window occur and i actually clean beacon area.
3) Loot is broken. Cruiser rats either do not drop anything or a single unnamed item, while frigs always drop some reasonable loot. ____ When flying by Concord Customs Commander's Dominix I distinctly heard him saying "... world domination..." |

hehe about the loot : loot tables have been wayyy off for a long time.
BS rats dropping frigate equipment and frigates dropping 100 nm MWDs.
to stay with topic i have only tried 1 deadspace mission so far wich ran like a charm.

I dunno, i got some nice named Heavy Neutrons and heavy launchers and named sensor booster and a lot of other nice stuff from damsel in distress loot.
So loot table for damsel in distress ... which is the only deadspace mission my agent knows, but hands out in 7 out of 10 missions, seems ok. |

I think you mean the *insert faction* Spies mission. Oh what I wouldnt give to do the damsel (had one), rather then the same *censored* mission for the 300th time in a row. Agent running got boring and repeatitive *before* EXODUS, now it makes mining look fun and interesting.
My mission logs pretty much goes (and this is with a cald navy agent): Blood Raider's Spies Guristas Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Angel Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Serpentis Spies Sanshas Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Sanshas Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Blood Raider's Spies Sanshas Spies

Edited by: Jim Steele on 06/12/2004 11:51:47 i had a deadspace mission yesterday, the damsil mission again *yawn* i really wish i could pod kill her as the mission is reppettative especially as i go the same mission again next but one mission but anyway...
I warped in to the becon, then locked and called in my gang buddys to sort out the rats, all of a sudden i found some wierd force pull me accross the map (i was doing 4000k/s in a raven with no mwd or AB) i was now 150k away from all the rats and my gang mates who had just arrived procceded to kill my bountys. Then another gangmates BS (a scorp) was pulled towards me and the third (another scorp) having lost his shield bolted! so this left me 150k away no mwd and approaching slowly. The fourth BS thought it would be a good idea to warp towards me as he was using a apoc and needed range, he came out of warp 150k away presumably by the becon, got scared and then bolted.
now noramlly i wouldnt mind being pulled across the map by some wierd entity however this happend to me AND a corp mate and since MWD do not work so there was no way for me to get back into the fight without warping off and back to the beacon! Deadspace missions are seriously wrong and lvl 4 missions are in need of fixing, not that they are particulary difficult i just dread them because i never know what bugs im going to encounter and for the pay i may as well stick myslef infront of a roid for a few hours ill make more isk mining veldspar in empire.

the bumping (which is wot u have described above) makes all gang related stuff so hit and miss. me and my friend where doing a lvl4 deadspace. he warped in, i warped in and bumped him 60k away from, plumb into the middle of everything and then got wtf pwned by everything in the spawn.
it makes it very hard to do anything reliably and to me is the worst bug introduced in exodus and needs fixing asap. i have even bumped npcs off the grid and am then unable to complete a mission which really sux

ah bumping that would explain it, because all ships land on the beacon i must have been bumped my my gangmember warping in, and then the other one bumped aswell, not sure if i can repreduce this effect but it does make for intresting gameplay, im sure CCP will sort the bugs out.
